......................................-----..................
There were two best friends, Mira and Alexa in Grade 11, they both liked someone in their class but it was not the same person.
In Grade 11 there were fewer girls than boys.....there were these boys, Josh and Bradley in the class they were the most brilliant....so the two girls liked them.....they only entrusted one person with this their secret "their senior" Kimberly.
They trusted her to keep their secret because they had no one else they could trust.
One day the senior asked Alexa "why do you like Josh? she answered "I like him because he his brilliant" I asked is that the main reason you like him?, she said "yes ma" I asked "do u like him alone or do you like all the boys that are brilliant" she answered "I like all the boys that are brilliant" I said ok. I asked the second girl (Mira) the same thing; her case was entirely different from the first girl. Hers goes like this "I really like this boy" I asked "why"? She said she just likes him, she then said that she thinks the boy (Bradley) hates her, I was like "why would you think that" she said "he always abuses, beat and embarrass me" I was like "he might be doing all of that because he likes you" she then said ok. I now asked that "are you sure you like him'? Or is your mind playing tricks on you"? She said she really likes him. I said 'ok' I tried to do it in a way that the girls would not find out that I am asking them the same question because they said I should keep it a secret. And it seems to be working.... None of them knew I was asking them the same question as the other. I told both of them that we needed to talk....they said ok......I was now thinking that maybe I should have a talk with the whole school concerning teenage love.
But that is yet to be finalized. But I also thought that if I did that they might feel guilty about themselves and not confide in me anymore.....so I had to play my cards very well.
One afternoon, Mira came to Kimberly with a different story that she doesn't like Bradley that she was just joking about all what she said. Kimberly was so shocked that her junior had been playing tricks on her......she got so angry at Mira that when Mira comes to her in assistance of her work she would just ignore her. Evening time came; Mira went to apologize to Kimberly...... Kimberly was still upset with the fact that she was played with by her junior, but with the kind heart that she had she forgave Mira for her dishonesty.
