Chapter 17: In Charge

Tetsuo was lifting a boulder and he set it down in the centre.

"Hmm, we need a bigger rock. A big, BIG rock!" Iro said.

Then Tetsuo started to think where to find the kind of rock he was describing.

"How about that one?" Tetsuo said as he pointed to the sky.

To our surprise, there was a big boulder headed right for us. We all got out of the way, well, I helped Jo get away and I didn't and I blacked out.

Crow's POV:

We were all surprised at a crashing sound. It came from the training grounds.

"What was that?" Dragon said.

"Yeah, that was a big blow right then" my big bro added.

Then Owl came to the doorway, out of breath.

"Guys, you may want to look outside" Owl said.

We followed Owl outside to see what's going on. I was surprised to see what was outside. A giant rock was in the middle of the garden they doing and there was sand everywhere. Then I looked around to find Takeda and ask him what's going on. Then I found him, Ming Zhu and Jo and they're both crying and Jo was carrying him. I quickly went over to her.

"Jo, what happened here?" I asked her.

"Takeda, he... he" Jo tried to speak in between tears.

"Jo, just let it all out" I said comforting her.

"He... pushed me away so that I wouldn't get hurt" Jo said.

I was surprised to hear that.

Why would he do something so reckless?

Owl checked his pulse and said "Alright, he's still alive but he's in bad shape".

Me and Jo sighed in relief and Owl added "I need to treat him immediately".

"Guys!" my big bro called out. "His helmet's destroyed!".

He then got Takeda's helmet and it was destroyed.

Owl called the others and they carried him inside to be treated.

Jo is really worried about Takeda and Ming Zhu told her "Don't worry, Jo. Owl will do everything he can to help Takeda". Jo simply said

"Alright" while she was wiping her tears. They all went inside to treat Takeda.

"Don't worry, Takeda's in good hands" I assured her.

She finally calmed down and said "Alright, thanks".

I then looked around and the garden's in a complete mess.

"Well, we're all safe but, I can't say the same for Takeda" Jo said.

Neeko and Tetsuo felt sorry for Jo.

"We, are safe? How can you think about us while our precious garden is crushed?" Iro said kneeling next to the rock.

I was about to say something but Iro cut me off.

"What kind of monster would do this to a poor, defenseless garden?".

"I'm no detective, but I think I found a clue" Tetsuo said as he pointed to a logo on the rock.

It's The General.

"Oh, yeah" Iro said.

Then Jo said "If he came this close, the next one won't miss. We gotta stop him!".
