" Andy! Would you mind getting out of the shower anytime soon? We're gonna be late!" Elliot Hutcheson, better known as Ellie, said as she continuously banged on the door to the bathroom in the hallway that her older brother, Andrew, was currently taking a shower in. He has been in there for what felt like twenty minutes.

How long does it take for someone to take a shower? It shouldn't take like an hour long. This is their first day back at school and she doesn't want to be late. New school means new stuff is gonna happen. At least that's what their mom tells them each year.

If she's honest, Ellie never believes her mom because she's just the shy art girl that doesn't have any friends her own age. She wouldn't even have any friends at all if it wasn't for her brother letting her tag alone with him and his friends. She was even more surprised his friends acted like they wanted to be her friend.

Ellie lets out an annoyed huff as she steps back from the door, giving up on knocking.

" I'm gonna go break your drumsticks if you don't hurry up!" she yells, knowing that would get him to get out and she was correct when just a few seconds later the door opens revealing her brother who had a panicked look on his face and was surprisingly dressed but with wet hair. She laughed as she noticed his shirt was on backwards.

" Don't you even dare! You know how expensive those were!" Andrew points at her and glares.

Ellie just smiles sweetly at him and shoves past him so she can get into the bathroom. " I know. Also," she pointed at his shirt as she continued to speak. " your shirt is on backwards."

Andrew, who was now standing out in the hallway, rolls his eyes, not believing his sister but as his eyes grew wide as he looked down at his shirt that was indeed on backwards. He quickly switches it to the front and looked up to glare at Ellie but the door was slammed in his face.

" Y'know, you could've asked nicely for me to leave instead of threatening to hurt my stuff!" he shouted at her but he knew it was no use so with a scoff he walked over to his room.

Minutes later the Hutcheson siblings were scrambling to arrive to school on time.

" Why do you have to be so hard on my Jeep? Huh? What did it ever do to you?" Andrew asks as Ellie slammed the passenger door to Andrew's jeep as she got out of it.

" You," Ellie points at him. " better not make me late." she said as she started walking to the school, her brother following her.

He rolled his eyes as he held onto the strap of his backpack. " You're not gonna be late. We're right on time, calm down, El."

The two siblings walk inside of East High and over to their lockers, immediately being greeted by Lucas Parker and Avalon Keller, both are Andrew's friend and in his band.

Lucas smiles. " Hey, guys. How was your summer?"

" Not long enough." Andrew answered as he opened his locker.

Avalon looked at Ellie. " Are you going to join the art club this year?" she asked and Ellie stopped opening her locker and stared at her. " I can't believe you just asked that question."

Lucas nods. " Yeah, it was obvious Ellie was going to join. She's been in art club so many times she should be the sponsor for art club."

Ellie shrugs her shoulders as she smiled shyly. " Art's the only thing I'm good at."

Andrew closed his locker as he looked at Ellie. " If Art is the only thing you're good at, then why don't you take credit for your talent?"

Lucas' and Avalon's eyes widened, surprised that Andrew asked what they were all thinking, they were even more surprised that Ellie answered the question.
