Chapter 6- Voices and ditching

"It's a four bedroom house and my mom let me have another one for like all my books and stuff so if you want to go to it later we can!" "Uh sure." I was so nervous I was sweating the entire time my face had been completely red. "I have lots of records do you want to listen to one of my favorites?" I nodded cause I was afraid of choking on my words. "Yay! Ever heard of (F/A or F/B)?" "Uh no actually but I'm sure it's good." "It really is!" She put on the record I'd never seen someone use one up close. "Do you want me to show you how to use it?" She said when she saw me looking at her in awe. "Yeah sure!" "Come." (Before I start this next sentence I just want to say I'm basing this off how I have to do it to my less modern record player cause the one at my dads is like newer so it's not as cool to do it cause the one at my moms is manual) "Soooo basically you switch it to records and you get the record and set it in the turn table you undo this little clip that holds down the tone arm and the stylus you place it down on the beginning of the record and it starts to spin and play music! Do you want to try?" "Uh yeah sure!" She put her hand over mine and showed me every move my heart was beating so fast and I felt tingly inside I knew I was blushing probably even harder than before. It was like such a typical movie moment but it made me have so many butterflies. The music started and it was kinda romantic. She sat down on her bed and patted the empty spot next to her. "You know Dib you're really great to hang out with not many people would go ahead and ditch school with me and now we have 8 hours to hang out and get to know each other even better!" "Yeah, but you know we can also hang out other times if you want both of our parents are out of town so if you want I'd love to hang out more." She smiled her sweet smile and said, "I'd like that Dibby." She put her hand over mine and smiled, "Like a lot." She kept making me blush I've never been this close to a girl before it makes my heart beat so fast I mean she's not just any girl too. "Ya know you said you can say much more about me what else can you say?" She giggled, "I mean you don't have to but." "Well for one you're the sweetest least judgmental person I've ever meant you're easy to talk to you have a heart of gold you have a cute sense of style and you've got such an adorable voice and to top it off you're the most beautiful girl in my opinion." She stared at me for a second then said, "You really think that?" I saw tears forming in her eyes again. It kind of broke my heart, "Dib I don't know what to say I was joking I didn't really think you'd say that you really do mean that?" "Yeah (Y/N) you're like the best person ever and if I'm honest I kind of have a crush on you and I" I was cut off by her lips on mine and her hand on my cheek I didn't know what to do I never kissed a girl before but I tried my best she was a good kisser but I feel like I might disappointing her. But she seemed to be enjoying it she smiled into the kiss and when she pulled away she put her forehead against mine and kept her eyes closed for a second before pulling away completely. "Wow." I said. "Yeah wow." She said. "I'm sorry if I wasn't good I've never...." She kissed me again and it's not like I was going to stop her it felt so good to kiss her she was the girl of my dreams.
Your P.O.V-
As I was kissing Dib my mind drifted towards Zim he saved my life and I think he might like me but here I am kissing Dib I couldn't help myself he's so cute and he said he had a crush on me and I think I might be moving to fast with Dib but it felt so nice to kiss him. He moved his hand from the bed to the small of my back he didn't seem to know what to do with his hands so he just held me. When we pulled away again he asked me a question a question I wasn't sure how to answer, "(Y/N) I care about you a lot and I know it's only been a couple weeks but we have such a great connection I feel as though I've known you my whole life so will you you know be my girlfriend?" "Well, yeah?" I said in a confused tone trying to convince myself it was okay that Zim wouldn't hate us. "You don't seem so sure about that." "Dib I care about you a lot so yeah we can try it's just I've never been in a good relationship before my last one was awful and I'm kind of needy and need to be reassured you actually still care about me and I know you'll say you can handle it but I'm not sure you can." "What happened in your last relationship that made you so nervous for a new one?" "He cheated and basically had sex with every woman that gave the slightest amount of attention to him because I wouldn't give out for him but I guess it was my mistake I mean I was 14 and he was 17 it was a bad idea but I really thought he would be a good guy and people warned me not to but I still did it. I mean god I hate him he made me feel so worthless and unloved he always pointed out every insecurity I ever had and it didn't help that people hated me at my old school and my parents were barely home so it was like I had no where to go And I'm just really afraid of getting hurt again Dib." I said with tears slipping out of my eyes. "(Y/N) I'd never do anything like that and I don't know how to prove that to you right now but give me a chance I swear I won't break your heart." I was still crying softly. "Promise?" I said sticking out my pinky. "Promise." He said as he linked his with mine.
Okay so I'm not sure if I like this completely I just kinda went with the flow my cousin gave me some ideas and I really like them for future chapters I'm also terribly sorry for how long I've been gone I've had a really hard time lately but I'm back home and I'll be writing again
