Your P.O.V-
I'm going insane I thought to myself as I walked into school. "Ugh I'm gonna be late." "oh no I forgot to turn in my essay." I kept hearing different voices as I walked down the halls I felt like I was going to cry my thoughts were overwhelmed. I needed to get away I ran quickly to the bathroom to my surprise there was no one in there well I thought there wasn't until I turned around and was startled by none other than the Phoenix. "Phoenix what is going on? Am I going crazy?" She giggled sinisterly and started to walk close to me. "You're so special (Y/N) there's a reason I chose you." "Please tell me what's going on stop being so elusive! Why am I hearing voices?" "Because (Y/N) you're a telepath!" "Telepath? Like a mind reader?" I didn't believe her at first but if I thought about it maybe she wasn't lying it couldn't be to outlandish after everything that happened this morning. "Okay well how do I tone it down?" "I'll turn it down for but I'm going to have to work with you so you can do it on your own but for now I'll help. You know it isn't the only thing you can do." She said tucking a strand of hair behind my ear then walked past me I turned around to watch her but as soon as she had passed me. This is becoming crazier by the second. "Hey (Y/N)." I heard someone say. "Uh I know I can't come into the girls bathroom but like the bell rang and we're gonna be late." It was Dib I guess he was waiting for me outside of the bathroom. "Uh I'll be right there Dibby."
Dib's P.O.V-
I told (Y/N) that the bell rang and that we were going to be late. "Uh I'll be right there Dibby." I blushed at the nickname she gave me. Her voice is so sweet and soft she's so sweet and soft I blushed thinking about her. I think I might be catching feelings for her. "Hey Dib." She said walking out the bathroom. I blushed she's got to be the prettiest girl I've ever seen in my entire life. She stared at me for a second and then shook her head. "You okay (Y/N)?" I ask her. "Uh yeah perfectly fine never been better!" She said with a faltering smile. "Um you know (Y/N) if anything's wrong you can tell me." She looked at me for a second and said, "Do you think I'm weird?" "Well, kinda but that's a good thing ya know you're different you march to the beat of your own drum and don't care what anyone says about you and you like what you like and that's that and people might find what you like weird but that's okay! Why would you try to fit in and like what everyone else likes when you can like what you like and be yourself and you do do that and that's what's so fantastic about you!" She smiled at every word I said and gave me a hug, "Thank you Dibby that means a lot." She sniffled. Is she crying? "Uh (Y/N) are you crying?" "Uh maybe." "Why?" "Well, no ones ever said such nice things about me it was shocking." "There's so much more I can say about you (Y/N) but we're gonna be late and I don't like to make Ms. Bitters mad." "Do you wanna ditch?" She said. Then her eyes went wide, "I mean we probably shouldn't but." "Where would we go?" "Well my parents still aren't home so we can go there! Watch some movies?" "What about Gaz?" "Text her see if she's fine with it!"  "Okay (Y/N)." I brought out my phone and texted my sister.
Me: Hey Gaz do you mind if I ditch school with (Y/N)?
Gaz: I don't care what you do just don't get caught I guess.
Me: We won't I promise
Gaz: whatever
"She's fine with it!" I said with a smile but my palms started to feel sweaty. "Are you sure you want to do this (Y/N)?" "Well it's either ditch orrrr face the wrath of Ms. Bitters so?"
"Yeah let's ditch." I said. She grabbed my hand and I couldn't help but blush. "You okay Dibby?" "Uh yeah I'm fine!" I sputtered out. "Okay! Let's go out through the back door we can jump of the rock wall it's super small." "Yeah okay!" We did as she said and kinda jogged to her house and made it without being seen by any school officials. By the time we got to her house we were kinda out of breathe. She opened the door to her house. I had never been fully inside. It was nice inside lots of grays and neutral colors there was religious figures inside (For whatever religion your family believes in). "Let's go to my room?" "Uh yeah sure!" I'd never been in a girls room I barely even get past the doorway of Gaz's room. She grabbed my wrist and led me up the stairs of her house. Her room was on the far end of the hall upstairs next to a loft and her bathroom. "I hope you like it I spent all weekend decorating it!" I walked in a it was so cute
