OC Reference Sheets

Nightshadow can run up to 75 miles per hour.

Nightbird hides thin blades between the feathers in her wings, so in a fight she can surprise-attack the enemy.

Both are straight.

Nightshadow is apathetic (meaning she has no interest in romance) while Nightbird isn't.

Nightbird's favorite food is chicken. Nightshadow's are cheeseburgers or bacon.

Nightshadow's an active memelord and tries to quote vines whenever she can. Bird as well.

Nightshadow prefers to be called "Shads" or "Shadow" while Nightbird prefers to be called "Bird".

Nightshadow's reference sheet was made January 10th and finished on the 11th. Nightbird's was made and finished on the 11th.

I did Midnight Panthra's reference sheet, I'll do Baxter's whenever I get free time.

I've drawn her a lot, but it's always hard trying to find something official for her (if that even makes sense-) so I did this.

For those who don't know who Midnight is, she's one of the main OCs that I use for roleplaying (but only with my friends, as she was actually made with my sister's help, mainly on her backstory).

Midnight is an adult black she-cat of the Panthra/Hamilton family, which I'll explain later. She is currently the mother of four cubs (they were a litter), and is pregnant with another litter at the moment (though usually I don't keep her pregnant in rps). She is also a highly skilled fighter, with three superpowers; Super-sight, super-hearing, and super-speed. She has pretty much mastered her powers at this point.

Midnight is rather protective. She's often calm and tries to be serious, but usually her child-like side comes out when she's around her adoptive family. She's currently the eldest sister of the Hamiltons and either the middle child or youngest female of the Panthras. Midnight has a strong older sister instinct as well. She also has odd mood swings that are actually pretty normal. One hour she'll be distant and quiet, the next joking around with her brothers/sisters and being energetic. In a fight, Midnight shows no mercy and has a bit of a sadistic personality as well in battle. As stated in one of the "OC Fact" chapters in my 3rd book (I think), Midnight has a slight addiction to the taste of blood, especially in a fight. So yeah. Now as well as that, she's also got very animalistic traits (growls, snarls when angry, puffs up when scared, sometimes licks cuts on her paw or arm, etc), which actually come from her father John, who is more animal than he is a mutant, personality-wise.

Midnight's backstory is rather brutal. If you're sensitive to the subject of rape and abuse, I would suggest to turn back now.

Okay. Midnight was born to John and Wyetta Panthra. John was a well-known, ruthless gang leader at the time she was born. Wyetta was a quiet, reserved Forest Dweller (mutant that lives in the woods/forest/mountains). Midnight and her brother were stolen from Wyetta by their own father, and Wyetta was supposedly killed. The black cats grew up in the Panthra gang. Midnight, however, got extremely unfair treatment, especially by her father. First it was minor, at least to her; a couple hits here and there but nothing too serious. Then it turned into her arm being clawed up, being thrown to the ground with enough force to break her shoulder, even being punched in the head or being threatened with a knife. At the age of four, Midnight made her first kill by ripping an enemy's throat out. When she realized she could kill with no remorse, she decided to train to make her dad proud. It- it didn't work. Her father wasn't easily impressed and more than often picked up on flaws in her position and fighting styles. So the abuse continued...then when she was 7, the thing that scarred her mentally and caused her to almost lose her sanity happened. She was, well, forcefully taken advantage of by her uncles Pyro and Demolish. Not only that, Midnight was also prone to infections and sicknesses due to never having her wounds treated. So she was often sick, and got insomnia from laying in her bed with some kind of virus for days and nights with no rest. Midnight even attempted to kill herself when she was 8, but luckily one of the few gang members that she liked stopped her. That gang member was her emotional support through all this, and was the only reason she got up in those mornings. However, one night, he defended the 8-year-old when John was about to hit her, and ended up being shot in the head after picking a fight with him. Midnight went into a depression after that, and eventually tipped off the edge into insanity. She didn't have the guts to escape into the woods due to fear of being caught or possibly killed by something else, and her brother's friends weren't much help. They gave her the phobia of coffins and being buried alive by locking her in a casket for two nights and constantly bullying her when they got the chance. At age 10, she snapped when they pushed her into the shallows of the lake, and smashed their heads in with a rock. She left them there on the shore, not caring about the blood on her pelt. When she was 12, that's when it happened. She snuck out a broken window and ran into the forest, crying, tired of her life. She didn't care what happened to her anymore. When she was far away from her former home, she stopped at some place in the forest, and calmed down. She looked up, and met eyes with a tan she-cat and a pink-yellow she-cat. She let her psycho side slip when she talked to them, alarming the two. Then she heard a gunshot in the distance, and slowly backed up before bolting. Corrina and Brandy- the two other felines- ran to tell their friends about the cat they just met. In conclusion, Galaxy's OC Harmony adopted Midnight as her first daughter. Midnight's gotten over some of her PTSD at this point, but still has some nightmares about her (now dead) father and uncles. She also re-met her biological brother Baxter and made up with him. Which brings us to now; Midnight's happy where she is, with Harmony, her siblings, her kids and her mate, and wouldn't change it for the world.
