The otherwise quiet afternoon of play was cut by a loud scream, a lot of crying, and a whole lot of explanations.
"...I sowwy na...sowwy Awwwjaaay..." Meng repeated over and over.
"No! I don't like to play na..." Rj cried. "Oooowwwww....Mommy...It's sakiiiiiiittt...."
"Sabi mo kick...kick atoooo" Meng explained as tears also now welled in her eyes.
"Oo nga...kick..." Rj hiccupped.
"Bakit ka naman nag-kick?" Mommy looked at Meng.
"...kick the ball..." Meng said.
"O, tama naman...you should only kick a ball..." Mommy said.
"But...but...aaaaahhhhhhh....sssaaaakkkiiiiiit! It's sakiiiiiiiit!" Rj screamed.
"Meng, anong nangyari kanina?" Nanay asked the now quiet Meng who was looking at her books.
"I kick...sabi Awwwjaaay kick...kick ako..."
"Anong kick? Anong na-kick mo?"
"...yun ball...kick the ball..."
"...ano daw nangyari kanina?" Nanay called Mommy to ask what happened between the two.
"...naglalaro sa garden...biglang sumigaw si Rj...natamaan sya..."
"Susmaryosep!"
"....Mooooom? My...my....! It's owwieeee!" Rj cried as Mommy prepared him for a bath.
"Hala! It's so red! Let's wash it with cold water, okay?"
"I told Meng to kick the ball..."

Rj nodded then wailed when he remembered what happened. Meng had missed the ball and kicked Rj's crotch instead.
