Part 3
(Thanatos is sat on a throne of some sort, pretty much sulking)
Thanatos: what does she have that I do not? What charm does Athena have that is greater than my own? What makes a goddess of war and violence more appealing than a god of peaceful death? Ridiculous. Unthinkable. Unfair! Unjust! What makes that woman's kiss sweeter than my own? Is it the words she weaves with a tongue like honey? Is it the tender touch she gives while dancing under Zeus' sky? Is it the loving gaze she gives with eyes as soft as freshly fallen snow? Which one of these things does she possess that I cannot grasp! *he stands* witchcraft. That's what it is. Some form of spiteful, clawing, bloodthirsty beast, summoned by Athena to keep me and my love apart. This creature of unrequited love is keeping me and Ophelia apart. This creature... this living form of darkness wished upon me by the selfish wants of Athena, beware my reckoning. I shall send an army of damned souls to defeat the beast, tear down Athena's temple and bring my Ophelia to me.
(song-Ophelia)
Thanatos: *he turns to the souls that are now on stage* take me to Hades
