Program Reborn

Prologue

 The world changes at each generations. The world our grandparents knew isn't the same as the one we know. We will never look at it the same way they did.

Our planet had its highs and lows. Wars have broke down like never seen before. Animals have met extinction, their habitats have been completely wipe out and certain regions aren't even liveable anymore because of the radioactivity. Life is on a thread. A thin thread that was bound to snap at any moment.

This animal called "Human" only cares about their own survival even if it's destroying himself in the long run. Humans are like fleas if left alone it will bring the animal's death. Afraid of his own extinction it tried to devise a plan for survival. Due to the wars new technology was being constantly developed, at an alarming rate. After the several long lasting war ended, space technology was also developed fast to the point of it being possible to travel to space easily and comfortably. These ships use little gas or fuel, not like we had much left. Most of the systems were battery powered which were powered by solar panels. They began to build spaceships that were capable of travelling through hyperspace and once they had the means of transportation they started to look and found various planets similar to ours.

They devised various planetarium exploration programs and sent several ships to various planets. While some were exploring the immensity that is space others were to busy trying to survive another day.

Life on Earth was difficult but survivable.

After two centuries there was no contact with the planetarium explorers, everyone was losing hope. The planet wouldn't last any longer. Eruption were happening everywhere and drinkable water was becoming more and more scarce. During Earth's day a conference was happening. On that day someone proposed a shocking idea. This idea consisted on training several orphaned children and send them, while in cryosleep, to the several planets from the planetarium exploration. Many regarded it as inhumane while others agreed with it. Even though many refused this idea, it still happened. They called it the "Reborn Programm".

This program consisted on training several orphaned children on survival. It took ten years to train 300 children and when they all reached adulthood they would be sent to outer space. These children would be sent to space while in cryosleep and would only woke up when the system recognised the planet as safe for living. The shuttle would be a rather small one. Inside of it were 5 cryobeds and a small storage to put their belongings and a few seeds.

When the time came for them to go, it was announced to the public that a few of their children would also be sent. This caused an uproar and delayed the the program. It was so bad that the authorities had to be put in between. Children were took away forcibly from their parents others came to terms and sent them away believing it was for a better future.

And so after all that happened the program had launched these children to their destined planets.
