Chase and the others thought of everything they had and what they could have.
(A/N This is what they're thinking.)
[Chase:] "Days in the sun When my life has barely begun Not until my whole life is done Will I ever leave you"
[Clay:] "Will I tremble again To my dear one's gorgeous refrain?"
[Raimundo:] "Will you now forever remain Out of reach of my arms?"
[Omi:] "All those days in the sun What I'd give to relive just one Undo what's done And bring back the light"
[Kimiko:] "Oh, I could sing Of the pain these dark days bring The spell we're under Still, it's the wonder of us I sing of tonight"
[Jamie:] "How in the midst of all this sorrow Can so much hope and love endure I was innocent and certain Now I'm wiser but unsure"
[Kimiko:] "Days in the past"
[Jamie:] "I can't go back into my childhood"
[Kimiko:] "All those precious days"
[Jamie:] "One that my father made secure"
[Kimiko:] "Couldn't last Oh, hold me closer!"
[Jamie:] "I can feel a change in me I'm stronger now, but still not free"
As she cleaned her wound, that's when Chase made it to her door.
[All Except Jamie and Chase:] "Days in the sun will return We must believe as lovers do That days in the sun Will come shining through"
Chase gently knocked on her door and she answered it.
"Chase?" she questioned.
"Yes. May I help you with your wound?" he asked.
Jamie smiled and said, "If you wish."
She let him in and they sat on the bed. He began to clean her wound, her biting her lip slightly in pain. She inhaled then exhaled as he was about to wrap her arm up.
"Jamie, I never thanked you," Chase told her.
"For what?" she wondered.
"For helping me back after you were attacked. You could have escaped and never laid eyes on this place again," he answered.
"I stayed for two reasons: one being I made a promise to take my father's place and I never break a promise. And two being I wouldn't wish for anyone to go through that, not even you," Jamie explained.
"Well, I still thank you," Chase said as he finished wrapping her arm up.
"You're welcome," she responded, placing her hand on his clawed one.
He smiled and got up, about to leave.
"Chase?" Jamie called, standing up.
"Yes, Jamie?" Chase questioned.
"I was wondering if you wanted to give that dinner another try. We still haven't had a meal in the same room," she requested.
He chuckled lightly and answered, "I would be honored by your presence at my table."
Jamie smiled as Chase nodded. He left the room and she got ready then went down for dinner.
