"Wait, hold on- I- you can't- I'm-"

Had Sal not wanted Ash to see it? What about the closet? There was silence for a few moments.

"There. Looks like it was just a small scratch. You can hardly see it." She sighed gently, "Sal, relax. I've seen your mouth already, how's everything else any different?"

"Ha...Thanks Ash-."

Sal was cut off, and they were both quiet.

I smiled, silently cheering for the two. I made a big deal out of slamming my books down and grabbing my locker to let them know I was looking over and they should stop sucking face. The sound of rushed shuffling signaled that it was OK for me to glance back.

I closed the locker, leaning against it as I grinned at the blushing messes in front of me. My expression shifted to a scowl when I noticed someone coming down the hall.

Larry rushed over them, not bothering to acknowledge me. "Dude, what happened?" He snapped straight up, "Was it Travis again? That prick! I'll kill him!"

"Yeah, you and Y/N."

"What?"

"Never mind," Sally laughed, "Larry, I'm fine. It's okay. Don't worry about it."

"Sal's right, if we stir the pot it could just make things worse." Ash chimed in.

"Not if he's dead!"

"Then he'll just haunt the school and we'll be stuck with that bonehead for another two years." I called, making my way towards them.

"Ha! Says the group skeptic." Larry mocks.

"You know I love you guys but the ghost stories are a little too much, even for me." I rolled my eyes. "I mean come on, a little girl on the fifth floor?"

"So, we're really just gonna let this Travis thing go?" Larry questioned impatiently.

"It's not worth it. And think about it, we don't know what his home life is like. He's got a lot of pent up rage, there must be a reason."

"Or he's just an asshole." I mumbled.

"Oh, yeah, and Y/N took care of it." Sal motioned towards me.

"She did what?"

"Yeah!" Ash agreed. "It actually was kind of cool. She took him by the sweater and slammed him against the locker. I think it scared him pretty bad.

Larry seemed angry that he approved with what I did. He nodded at me, stuffing his hands in his pockets.

"I'm pretty sure he's just mad they switched Bologna Sandwich Day to tomorrow." Ash spoke, earning a chuckle from Larry. I think that's the first time I've seen him show genuine amusement within ten feet of me. "Seriously, I don't think I've ever seen anyone love the crappiest lunch day so much.

"What's so bad with Bologna?" I laughed. I wasn't a huge fan of it, but it wasn't the worst lunch meat out there.

"It's horrific." Larry said, his eyes wide, "Wait until you eat some tomorrow. It's disgusting."

"It's like a prison meal!" Ash called, "And Travis doesn't even like Pizza Fridays! Who doesn't like Pizza?! Its inhuman."

"Maybe he's an alien." Larry suggested casually as if it was an actual possibility.

"Ha, that's all we need." Sal rolled his eyes with a smile.

"Psst, Larry!" I fake whispered. "I'll help you kill Travis when Sal isn't looking."
