Ashley crossed her arms, seeming to pick up on my growing need to put Travis in his place. Was this a normal thing that they had to deal with? I'll put a stop to that real quick.
"Don't you have anything better to do?" She furrowed her eyebrows.
"Shut up, bitch!" He moved forward slightly as he yelled in an attempt to seem more threatening. "I wasn't talking to you!"
Sal's confidence seemed to swell at the sight of his friend being mistreated. "You know, if you took the stick out of your ass you may actually enjoy yourself for once." He stated harshly, his pigtails bouncing and swaying as he moved his head. "Maybe even make a friend or two." I was almost impressed.
"Fuck off, Faggot! I have more friends than you'll ever have!" I swear he was foaming at the mouth.
"You kiss your daddy with that tongue? I'm sure he-."
I watched in horror as Travis swung at Sally. Drops of blood dripped down from under the mask.
In a matter of seconds, every instinct from my old life flooded my brain. It felt refreshing, like the urges were finally free from wherever I had pushed them.
Travis was turned and was ready to walk away when I grabbed him by his sweater. Before he could blink I slammed him into the lockers and pinned him there. My face was inches from his as my grip tightened on him.
He winced when I threw him against the metal doors, but he quickly drew himself together. I could hear Ashley yelp in surprise at the action.
"Listen to me, Mr. Daddy-Issues," I growled. Before I could continue my thought I felt a soft hand on my back. I turned my head to see Ash behind me. Sal was just watching, a look of shock in his eyes. Though he didn't seem to care. I took a breath, looking back at the boy I so wished to pummel. "You touch my friends again-any of them- and I'll have no qualms turning your face into a fucking, parking lot." I let him fall to the ground, disappointed when he landed on his feet. "You understand me?"
"Bitch." He pushed me away, walking down the hall.
I moved to grab him again, but Ashley stopped me. I looked down at her, my attitude deflating. I scratched the back of my neck.
"U-Uh...Sorry."
The two were silent for a moment before Sally jumped up excitedly. "That was awesome!" He laughed.
I smiled. Well, I'm glad he isn't scared of me. Ash just laughed at Sal's outburst.
"Are you alright, Sal?" Ash asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine." He adjusted his mask to its usual spot, wiping the blood that dripped down his jaw.
"Come on, lets go report that jerk."
"No don't worry about it. It'll only make things worse. Trust me I've dealt with bigger bullies than Travis before." He looked at me, "Plus if we report him, he could report Y/N."
I moved a few lockers down while they spoke, stopping in front of mine. I pulled out the locker code from my pocket and sighed. I really need to get this memorized.
I tugged it open, putting away my books that I didn't need. I just listened in on the two as I moved around my stuff.
"Sal, your bleeding!"
"I'm okay, really."
"Here lets use my bandanna..."
The sound of his prosthetic buckles coming undone rang out. For a moment, I considered peaking around my locker to see his face, but quickly decided against it. If I had to cover my face, I don't think I'd want anyone seeing it.
