"how long has it been!" I screamed out, wiping the blood from my lips with my arm. "2 minutes." the red light bearer said. "fuck-"

"yoohoo~" I turned around to meet a pair of red eyes. I jumped back, but his foot was already connected to my waist. It sent me slamming off to the wall.

"you're trying to hard." he said and ran off. "fuck!" I coughed. "K-Khun! The rankers gone!"

"(y/n)? Are you okay!?" he asked worriedly through the earpiece. "yeah, but the others aren't. First defense has fallen."

"the 2nd line defense has fallen."

"yo the fuck?" I cussed. "Khun I'm coming to you. I see you." I ran to his side."what are you even doing here! Look at you all bruised up and bloody!" he grabbed on my shoulders and I winched. "what are you even doing here... With the lighthouse no less."

He whispered to me his plans. "gotcha tag!" I heard Quant screamed as he saw the bright light emitted from the lighthouse. He stopped when he saw it was just me and Khun. "you- how did you get here so fast!" he pointed at my figure. "huh? Was I not supposed to??"

"and.. What are you?" he motioned towards Khun. "me? The light."

"where's the tag?! She should be here!" he angrily shouted at me and Khun. "not here." Khun smirked.

Quant looked around and his eyes landed at Khun's suitcase. "I know about manbarondena. Don't mess with me. Open the bag dude."

Khun's gaze wavered and he looked two times more nervous as he stayed silent. "I said, open the bag." Quant smirked, thinking he had hit the Jackpot. "do you think... I hid her in this bag?" Quant answered, "yeah."

Khun gave him his signature grin. The grin that makes a thousand fangirls flop to the ground.

"I'm sorry, but the test badge can't be compressed into this bag. According to the rules, it can't be hid in this bag. Isn't that right supervisor?" Hansung yu's voice was heard from the lighthouse. "he's right. Mr. Quant."

"hear that?" Khun smiled all cockily, "she's not here."

"not here?" Quant continued Pointing a finger at Khun aggressively, "okay! Fine! she's not in there! But she must be somewhere around here!"

"actually she jumped down there." I pointed to the dark plunging doom death beside us. "there's no way a normal regular can survive a jump through there!"

"yeah, but she's a jahad. And she can strengthen her body with shinsu no less." I peaked over the edge, looking into the shadows. No end to be seen. "as we're talking, she's running towards the bottom exit."

"but you can't catch up to her. You already used your shinsu. And you can't strengthen your body with shinsu. You're not even from the great family. An ordinary body like yours would be broken if you jump down there." Khun mocked with a wide grin.

They stared into each other's eyes. Khun grinned while the ranker stared at him unwavering under his gaze.

Quant started laughing maniacally. "are you trying to provoke me?" his eyes bore into Khuns.

I feel pretty left out...

"provoke?"

"you want me to get upset. You want me to jump down to prove that 'I can jump without shinsu."

"and then, after I jump, the tag who's hiding somewhere will come up again and run towards the exit. Right?"

Khun sighed, "think whatever you want. The tag is running towards the exit down there anyways. Just tell me you're afraid to jump. Aren't you embarrassed as a ranker?" he shook his head as if to say, 'you stupid dumbass'

"then where's your other lighthouse?" Khun looked up in at met quants eyes, emptily gazing him. I heard his breathing stopped for a second. "you have two lighthouses under your control. Where is the other one." Quant accusingly pointed towards Khun.

The blue haired male tried his best to look unaffected, but the seeker insisted on his deduction. "what are you talking about?"

"you're using two lighthouses right now." the red haired seeker persisted. "what non-sense. What do you mean he's using two lighthouses." I interrupted, though my acting skill isn't on par with Khun's, at least an idiot would fall for it.

"why did you, a light bearer came here in the first place? To hide the tag. And how does the light bearer hide the tag? Only one answer. With his lighthouse." he looked up at Khun's glowing bright lighthouse above us.

"and let's say that's not the case. Why is there a water controlling nymph here with you? Why not some other fisherman that's way closer?"

"easy, because Daeyangs can control how solid the water they make. The tag can easily stand on the solid water platform that she made." he did a victory grin.

"It's true. I can solidify the water I create. But it wouldn't be as solid as plastic. It would still make splashing noises if she moves. And there's no possible way that It can hold someone this long." I told him, crossing my arm. How'd he know this information? It's a very restricted trick even in the family.

"then it's back to the lighthouse trick. Let me give you a lesson about lighthouses." he circled around Khun and I, "no thanks."

"don't get pouty."

I kind of like the idea of a pouty Khun.

"the lighthouse that light bearer use are made of a metal rock called float rock."

I yawned. "skip."

"fine. In short, a lighthouse outside the control area falls down." he finalized, reaching to a conclusion. "everyone knows this." Khun mumbled under his breath, sweat dropping.

"then here's a special question!" Quant grabbed on Khun's wrist harshly, while raising his voice, "what happens to your lighthouse and the tag if I jump and take you with me?"

Khun looks taken aback, already guessing what's to come. "and let's say that the water can hold a regular person for this long. Controlling water takes a lot of concentration." he grabs onto my wrist with his other hand, "sexual harassment!" I yelled out. "wait a second- falling down together? You mad bro?"

"with your sudden fall you'll loose your control over the lighthouse and your concentration!" he grinned maniacally. "are you actually trying to kill kids!?" I screamed but didn't resist his grip on my wrist. "the answer is, we'll all fall down together!"

I heard Khun take a gulp anxiously before we got pulled down by the seeker.

Khun stayed silent as we descended into the dark void. "what!? Are you afraid?! You can't even say a word!" he laughed and started screaming out weird sentences. All the while, Khun grabbed my waist, pulling my close to him.

I wrapped my arm around his neck as Khun take his hand back from Quant. "what? You actually Want to die-?"

"manbaroncoupe visible mode." a rope appeared and Khun grabbed on it. I dangled while my arm circled around his neck. We both got pulled down while Anaak ascended with the lighthouse.

Khun sent a lighthouse under us, steadying ourselves on the limited platform.

I reluctantly released him from my hug and stepping away with my face glowing red. "what happens if I fall with you when I'm connected with the lighthouse and the tag using this pulley made out of pure float rock?" we watched Quant face turned into horror as he stared at our grinning face.

"you cheating bastards!!" he screamed out in anger as he continued falling down. "the answer Is, you are the only one who falls."

I shot a spray of water to make Anaak go up faster, hearing a tap above us as she landed on the platform safely.
