"Please, Jewel. You can't let anyone know. If they find out who she is, they will kill my only heirs" Monarch shoved the dragonets into Lady Jewel's arms. Unlike other SilkWing dragonets, they had been born with their wings and silk. Unlike other SilkWings, their 4 wings had pointed edges, not round ones. And unlike other SilkWings, they had a leaf shaped fan at the end of their tails.

"I'll take care of them." Lady Jewel told Monarch. She was so young, and the x-queen saw fear in her eyes. But Jewel was Monarch's only hope.

Slowly, X-Queen Monarch turned away. She slowly walked out of Lady Jewel's chambers, more and more HiveWing guards joining her, eyeing her suspiciously.

I'm sorry Hawthorn. Monarch thought sadly. I'm sorry for so many things, for surrendering my rule, for letting HiveWings walk all over my beloved tribe. And most of all, I'm sorry for leaving our dragonets.
