Welcome back! I hope you are enjoying the story. I have made some changes and corrections in the prologue. There's nothing else to really say except thank you guys for reading the story. Also, I know I said I would update For Family, but I can't seem to decide where I am going for the next chapter, I will work on it after this chapter is out, but until then enjoy!
3rd POV 2008 Saturday, 11:37 am
A young, twelve-year-old girl, with black hair, is seen running in the forest, wearing a torn sarafan that has been customized with a utility belt, with her wand on her back along with a bow made from wood and string and a slightly worn out quiver made out of beaver skin. She also has a small knife attached to her belt. This girl was Rin. She kept running past several dead trees, eventually stopping behind one to catch her breath and hide. She could be heard panting as she hides behind a tree wide enough to hide her.

She held her breath and put her back against the tree, to hide her from her pursuer. More noise was heard from behind the tree as the sound of crunching leaves and twigs being stepped on were heard. She slowly took a peek from behind the tree and saw Y/n, wearing the same clothes he had worn to bed on the first day they meet, five years ago, but it had multiple stitches on the shirt and pants. He was missing his other eye and was now both his eye sockets had a light blue dot in each of them and there was a weak smell of decay that followed him. He was also holding an axe.
The sound of chirping was in the air and Y/n looked up to see a robin. The bird was on a branch, chirping away without a care in the world. While Y/n was distracted with the bird, she got out her bow and an arrow, which was a stick with fletching made out of bird feathers and the head made out of sharpened stone. She put the arrow against the bow and placed the end on the string. She pulled it back, aiming at Y/n's stomach, trying to hit him without killing him. She took a small step to the side to get a better view of her target and accidentally stepped on a twig.

Y/n turned his head to see Rin and she releases the arrow. Y/n managed to raise his axe in time to stop the arrow by getting it stuck in the middle of the axe's handle. He then took a step forward and swung his axe, which she dodged. His axe ended up getting stuck halfway in the tree. He manages to get it unstuck and when he did he turn his head to see another arrow pointed at him.
This time the arrow had hit his right arm, making Y/n grunt in pain, before he turned his attention back to Rin. She fired another arrow, but this time Y/n blocked it with his injured arm. Before she could do anything, Y/n manage to swat her bow away, with his other arm, knocking it to the ground, a few feet away from her. He tried to grab her, but she grabs her knife and cut his hand, making him pull it back in pain. Rin used her new opportunity to run to her bow.
