Our little secret

Part one

My mind was drunk with thought. I stared out the classroom window, blurring out my peers talking. The teacher was late and no sub was here, so it was a free-for-all. I felt a slight tap on my shoulder and turned around, it was Chrissy. My frown immediately faded and was replaced with a smile as I got up from my seat. Chrissy hugged me as I hugged back, my mood suddenly changing. "Want to hang out later?" She asks.
"Of course, darling" I reply with a giggle. We never really call each other 'couple names', so when we do it's to joke around. We let go of our hug and sit down, me in my chair and her on my desk. We laugh the class away as our English teacher never arrived.
As the bell rang, we walked out and separated our ways. My thoughts rushed back to me as I opened my locker, what if our parents found out we're together?

The final bell rang and I raced out the school, bag in hand. I got onto the bus and retreated to the back, sitting myself down. I jerked forward as the bus started, and jerked again as someone kicked my seat. I peered over the seat to see Bryce Smith, some homophobic dude. He always talked trash about me and Chrissy, though I could care less. "Freaky fag!" He shouted at me, though I flipped him off. The entire bus ride he would kick my seat, trying to gain my attention. Bing! I looked down at my phone, a text from Chrissy. Hey! It started off. Meet me at the park around 5:50, I miss you.
I smiled and set my phone down, but not before sending a thumbs up. I rocked back and forth in my seat until my stop came, and I got off the bus.

As I entered the house I was greeted by family members, I have my brothers-in-law, stepdad, mother and grandmother living with me. "Hey, kiddo" Ryan, my stepdad said. I waved to him with a smile, though most kids hate stepparents I found mine pretty cool. Guess I was lucky. I checked the clock, 4:39, guess I'll have to wait awhile to see my girlfriend.

But what if they found out?
