Juliana continued her journey, all she wanted was to get home ,she wondered if she could survive this.
As Juliana walked down the road she saw a body twitching "help" the voice croaked desperately trying to get a response , it was a girl ,but not just any girl ,Juliana recognised her from school ,it was Sophie ,she was badly wounded . Juliana rushed to help until another figure ran out with a bottle of water and a bandage , Juliana also recognised this person his name was Andrio . He lifted Sophie's head up and poured the water into her mouth ,Sophie spat out dark coloured blood and got up . Andrio asked if they could go with her ."my house is not that far from here ,we can get there in about thirty minutes or so". Juliana and Andrio grabbed hold of Sophie because her hamstring was cut and headed for her house.

As they walked on they saw two boys chatting to one another and going into an alleyway . Juliana waited till they had gone and started walking on .

As Juliana and the others reached her house Sophie asked"do you have a key" "it's nearly night ,what's our plan ". Juliana knew there was not enough time to compromise so she used her screwdriver to quickly take a bench apart and use one of the legs to smash through her window . Suddenly her dog pranced through the shattered glass and jumped on Juliana in joy . Night was coming so they climbed through the shattered window and barricaded it of with the metal bench. Juliana was angry because her parents left her and her dog on their own ,she wanted them to be dead . Andrio and Sophie slept in the bedrooms for the night while Juliana was gathering her belongings in her hiking rucksack and slept on her couch.

Juliana couldn't sleep because of the noises going on outside ,so she watched the dead scrambling through the streets all night.

The next morning Juliana awoke to see a figure clawing at the barricade ,she knew it wasn't human so she used her screwdriver to puncture its heart ,it didn't seem to work . Juliana savagely stabbed the thing everywhere until she stabbed it in the head ,the body collapsed to the ground spewing with blood . Juliana figured out a way to kill these things once and for all.
