Luca's POV

Luca snapped back to reality when his sister blew cold air into his ear, trying to get his attention. He glared at her while she chuckled aloud. "You were off with the fairies again, I had to do something," his sister managed to gasp out between laughter.

" Alexandra Philepe Venon, that was so not cool."

"Oh calm down Luca, you looked like you needed a bit of a breeze anyhow. Loosen up a bit, it's Summer Break, no school for a month. WHOOHOO!!"

"You need to grow up," Luca huffed to himself. They left the café, the plant invasion was what him and his sister called it when they were little because of all the plants everywhere. Literally anywhere they looked there was a plant towering over them.

"Come on Luca, and stop death staring that plant like it might abduct you when you're not looking."

Alexandra's POV

Three weeks past and Luca was still worrying about the year ahead. He had this really bad feeling something bad was going to happen, he had a lot of anxiety towards it, Alex rolled her eyes when she saw him gnawing on his nails, he always did that when he was freaked out.

Luca's POV

Holly Molly, it's almost the end of Summer brake, that means the last year of school is coming up. I'm freaking out here. Luca walks to the kitchen, needing food to fill his fluttery stomach, he didn't know why he was so worried,  it's just another school year, the last one in fact.

Luca's POV

It was raining, great, soggy shoes. He ran to the talent show, almost tripping over in a puddle. When he finally got there, people were already lining up to perform, Luca swung his guitar over his shoulder again so that it didn't fall off, it was a little wet from the rain. He sighed inwardly, I have to make the most of the summer break so why not show off my musical talent?

Luca walked over to the lady keeping track of all the people who signed up, after he told her his name he turned around and started walking, but something was in his way, he ran straight into a dirty chest, looking up, he quickly shrunk away from how tall the guy was.

"I....I'm so...sorry," Luca mumbled to the ground, hiding the blush that was starting to crawl up his face.

Luca looked up again, taking in the ginormous man, He was wearing dark ragged clothing, there were tears all over and his black hair was matted and dirty, sticking to his forehead. Woah, maybe it's just a costume.

Luca snapped out of his reverie.

"So are you signing up for the talent show?"

"Yes" he said, gesturing to a strange looking instrument in his hand.

"Is.. is that a flute?"

"You could say that," He grunted. He had a really deep voice.

"Ummm okay," Luca said cheerily, trying to brighten the mood.

"Yeah, could you step out of the way?" "I need to sign up"

"oh, s.. sorry, I forgot, " he stuttered.

"Right."

Luca bit his bottom lip nervously as he stepped around the oddly tall guy. Minutes later the spooky guy was called to the stage. He kept his hood up, his face shaded and pressed the strange instrument to his lips.
