Recently I have been seeing numerous open wireless networks in the area that scare me, what if I click to join? Open wireless networks are unprotected WiFi networks to which anyone can connect without providing any password. These open networks can be WiFi networks launched by devices such as smart TVs, they can be completely benign WiFi networks not configured correctly by fans who have just bought a new WiFi router, or they can be harmful WiFi networks created to steal their personal or financial details.
You never know what kind of open wireless networks your computer can connect to. That is why I take more precautions and block all these open WiFi networks that frequently appear in the list of Windows 10 WiFi networks. I could even block these potentially harmful networks with an easy command otherwise.
• Click on the WiFi icon in the notification area to locate the WiFi domain you need to block.
• Open the electricity user menu. Administrator in the menu to start Power Shell.
• Repeat step 4 for all WiFi networks that you want to block.
After this, Windows will completely discard all blocked networks. If at any time, you want to unlock those WiFi networks, you can provide the following command
If you cannot remember all the networks that you have previously blocked, then it is possible to view the list of enabled and blocked networks using the following command:
Filters, you can use the control mentioned above to remove the various filters in the computer system. After this, you will access those WiFi networks again.
