"Weird?" I guessed.

"More like creepy," she mumbled. She walked out from under my arm but I grabbed her wrist, gently stopping her.

"What do you mean when you say that he's being creepy? What does he do, babe? Does he say anything to you? Does he. . . He doesn't hurt you, right?"

"Of course not," she said quickly trying to reassure me. "It's just. . . He sometimes. . . He just watches me. Like the entire time I'm over there. Whenever I try to leave, he doesn't let me. He blocks the door and tries to have weird conversations with me."

"He doesn't let you leave?" I asked through my teeth.

"Sorta," she shrugged. "Until his mom walks by the door and tells him to let me go."

"What else does he do?" I tried to calm down but the more I thought about how Alex was treating Y/N, the less I liked the idea of her going over there.

"Nothing," she stuttered. She bit her lip before adding, "Well, there was that one thing. . ."

"What one thing?"

"He just constantly. . .hits on me. He often interrupts Bobby's lesson."

"He hits on you?" I asked, through my teeth, barely able to control my anger. "Even after we started dating?"

She cleared her throat, clearly not wanting to answer my question.

"Y/N?" I asked, gently grabbing her hands. She sighed as she nervously bit her lip.

"He got worse after the news that you and I were dating spread around school," she whispered, looking down.

"And you're going back there?"

"I have to," she stuttered as she pulled her hands out of mine and started walking towards her car.

I quickly jogged after her. "Y/N, wait." I grabbed her hand, turning her towards me. "Please don't go back to that house. I don't. . . I don't want you around him anymore."

"I have. . . I have to help Bobby. There's nothing I can do about Alex being in his own house."

"Then I'm going with you," I said stubbornly.

"Peter," Y/N sighed, laughing slightly. "You can't. . . You can't. . . You can't come with me. I can't bring my boyfriend to a tutoring session."

"Watch me," I shrugged.

"Peter," she sighed as she reached up and cupped my cheek in her hand. "It's okay. I can handle him."

"I know you can," I smirked as I wrapped my arms around her waist. "It's him I'm worried about."

"It's fine," she stuttered. "Really. . . I mean sometimes he stands too close, nonstop watches me, and sometimes touches me but. . ."

"Wait, what?"

"Please don't get mad," she said under her breath. "This is why I didn't want to tell you. You're always so protective and I. . ."

"I'm protective of you because I. . ." I stopped talking when I realized I was about to admit I was in love with her.

"Because you care about me," she said, finishing for me.

"Of course," I said quickly. I leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to her lips.

I waited outside Alex Markson's house, my eyes scanning the street for Y/N's car. Even though I told Y/N I was fine with the idea of her going back to Alex's house to tutor his brother, I wasn't. At all. I hate the idea of my teammate hitting on my girl.

I bit my lip when I saw her car pull up into the driveway. I let out a breath of relief as she headed inside. I didn't want to head in as soon as she got there so I waited.

After about ten minutes, I finally decided to head inside. I held my breath as I knocked on the door and waited.

"Alex, will you get the door?" I heard Mrs. Markson say from inside.

"But mom, I'm talking to my friend, Y/N." I could practically hear his smirk.

"She is tutoring your brother and I've told you a hundred times to leave the leave that poor girl alone. Let them study and answer the door. Now."

I heard him grunt in annoyance before the door opened. "Peter? What are you doing here, man?" He laughed as he gave me a bro-hug.

"I needed to talk to you," I said, taking deep breaths to control my anger.

"About?" He shrugged, leaning against his doorframe.

"Y/N."

"What about Y/N?" He scoffed with a smirk.

"You know what about," I said through my teeth. "She told me how you never leave her alone when she's trying to help your brother."

"Come on," he laughed, thinking this was a joke. "If you had a smoking-hot girl sitting in your living room every afternoon, you'd be trying to get with her too."

"Not is she had a boyfriend," I said through my teeth. "Who cares about her very much and doesn't like other guys harassing his girl."

"Relax, man. It's harmless."

"Actually, it's not. She doesn't like it. It makes her uncomfortable whenever she's over here," I sighed. "Y/N loves tutoring, especially your brother. She is always talking about how much he's growing and how well he's doing. But, she is also in a weird mood whenever she leaves. I notice that she is jumpier, even with me. I tried to ignore the fact that she doesn't look me in the eyes or even let me grab her hand without being jumpy. Now I see it has nothing to do with me and everything to do with you."

"What?" He mocked. "You want me to leave her alone? Or else?"

"Leave her alone," I said, taking a step closer to him. "I would say or else she wouldn't be allowed in this house again, but I know how much she loves tutoring and I love her so I won't. . ."

"You what?"

We turned around to see Y/N with her backpack slung over her shoulder, standing in their doorway. I opened and closed my mouth, the words stuck in my throat.

Y/N walked around Alex who hadn't moved from the doorway, still blocking her way to me. She had a smile on her face as she walked over and stood in front of me.

"If I heard you correctly," she said, a slight teasing in her voice, "aside from the protective threatening, you said something about how you really feel about me. Maybe the same way I feel about you."

"The same way. . ." I said slowly as I took a step closer to her. I gently grabbed her waist, pulling her closer. I leaned down and pressed my lips to her, pulling her closer as our lips started moving in sync.

"I love you," I whispered as I pulled away and leaned my forehead against hers.

Y/N giggled as she leaned back. "I love you too."

She stood on her toes and pressed her lips to mine. I wrapped my arms around her, as our lips moved in sync. We ignored Alex as he groaned and slammed their front door.

Y/N pulled away with a small laugh. I watched as the smile fell from her lips and was replaced with her nervously biting her bottom lip.

"What is it?" I asked as I reached up and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.

"I just. . . I love tutoring Bobby, but with his brother. . ." She sighed as she glanced at the house before looking back at me.

"So, I know I'm overly protective but I've been thinking about this since you told me what Alex is really doing. What if you still tutored Bobby, but at his school, the library or your house? That way the situation is more in your control."

"That's a great idea," she smiled as she wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me down to her.

"What?" She asked, tilting her head when she saw I was laughing.

"We're still making out in front of Alex's house," I laughed.

"Good," she smirked. "Maybe then he'll finally leave me alone."
