This is the first part of my story. I don't know when the next part will be up- I haven't written it yet, and i'll be really busy at school. But if I get lots of votes, reads and comments, that will probably motivate me to upload quicker. Thanks for reading (:

BEFORE

CHAPTER ONE

"That film was SO crap, seriously, Anna," Jayden, my boyfriend informs me, rolling his eyes. "Why the hell did you make me watch that crap?"

I laugh, bracing myself against his side as we walk out of the building, the cold air hitting us like a harsh slap.

"It was really good," I insist. "Besides, Jay, it was my turn to choose, you said so."

"But a romantic comedy!" Jayden whines teasingly, some of his hair falling into his eyes. I reach up and brush it away. "No one actually gets a happy ending like that, you know that, right?"

"Except us," I say, slipping out conjoined hands into his coat pocket in an attempt to keep them warm.

"Well, yeah, except us, obviously," he says, his amazing coffee coloured eyes glinting in amusement.

Jayden is literally the best boyfriend anyone could ever hope for. We've been together for just over a year, since we were 15. I know we were young when we got together- we still ARE- but what we have is special, i know it. Jayden and I are made for eachother, i swear. We met each other on our first day of Kindergarten, years and years ago, and we've been best friends ever since. We have a few other friends too, but we've known eachother the longest, and we're the closest. We could always (and still can) confide in each other about things we'd never speak to anyone else about, ever. I was there for him when his parents divorced, and he was there for me when my dog since birth, Sherry, died a few years back.

My parents love him. Well, my parents love most people, but they like him especially. My mom was ecstatic when Jay officially became my boyfriend. Even though we weren't massively popular or anything, people just couldn't resist 'aww'-ing when they saw us together.

Today is friday night. Date night. We don't go on proper dates, as we're only 16, after all, and we don't have that much money, and we haven't learnt to drive yet. But we do go to the movies occassionally, and whatever else we may feel like doing. But usually, we stay home, his place or mine, just to enjoy eachothers company.

Now, we walk away from the movies, hand in hand. After around five minutes of wandering aimlessl, he pulls me to a halt.

"Where now?" he asks me, grinning, pushing hair out of his eyes impatiently. I glance at my watch; it's only 8:30, and I don't have to be home for another 2 hours yet. I don't want my time with Jayden to end, and i know he doesn't, either.

"The shed?" I suggest, smiling slightly. I know how much he loves the shed, and i can't blame him; I do too.

"Yeah!" he exclaims, already pulling me off in the direction of home.

The shed is our favourite place in the whole world. It's in the back of my garden, half hidden by our trees, and it's all ours. My parents never used it, so they gave it to us, as we've always played in there since we were little. We both have a key- no one else has one, it's our private place. I gave his key to him so he can stop by whenever he wants, as he only lives two houses down from me. Also, it's a pretty damn convinient when i forget my key.

The shed is our space. We use it for everything- studying, reading, sleeping, talking...kissing. We've decorated it by putting a fluffy blue rug on the floor, two beanbags, and a bunch of randomly coloured blankets. We put a little green lamp in the corner for when it's dark. It's really random and mismatched- and I love it. It's my favourite place in the world.
