Synopsis: so the original on take place after Scar died from an accident of falling into the ocean and drowning and Cub being afraid of the water couldnt muster the courage to save him in time. So let's change some events shall we. Like a friendly neighbourhood flight expert.

It was a peaceful night on hermitcraft as Grian flew through the shopping district and towards his base. The cool night air filling his hair and the enchanted Elytra on his back shimmering with purples and pinks leaving a trail of its sparkle. Ut was a peaceful, cloudless night.

Until a shrill scream came from the direction of Scars island.

Upon instinct, He fired a rocket in that direction to see quite an unnerving sight.

Scar was in the ocean trying to stay above the water as Cub was on a rock frozen in place. Everyone knew Cub was afraid of water and how Scar was unable to swim (I swear he's a cat). This was dire. Upon his next move, he fired a rocket and landed on a near by rock and pulled out a lead. He threw it out so Scar could grab it and once he did, he pulled him over the rock and out the freezing waters. He lifted the cold and exausted hermit up after he coughed up the water in his system and huddled with him as he stood with him in his arms and took off over to Cubs location.

Once there, Cub was all over the freezing hermit in worry. He took Scar from Grian and sat him on a rock to help him warm up. Grian helped as they all headed to the nearest warm build (being Grians base) so they could properly help him.

-time skip brought by Scar being a cat 24/7-

The next day, Scar was back up on his feet as active as ever. Cub was still fawning over him but was much calmer than before. Definetly didn't help Cubs fears but he was relieved Scar didn't drown or get hypothermia from the cold.

just imagin what could of happened if Grian didnt come... oh wait.
