I walked down stairs to see Marcus sitting on the couch, he turned around suddenly to the sound of my heels on the hard wood floor, His eyes light up and he stood up and walked over to me holding something in his hand but he put it in his pocket He wrapped his arms around me and kissed me forehead, I felt a tear drop on he head and I looked up to him and he was crying I wiped his eyes and kissed his cheek. "I love you, you know that right?" I questioned He nodded "I love you too "Harriet, I never asked you properly again but will you be my girlfriend... again?" He asked me "Yes of course" I chuckled lightly He pulled something out of his pocket, My promise ring "And this, I promise to love, care, protect, and be loyal to you forever and ever and I will never ever ever break that promise ever again, I love you" He said placing the ring back on my finger I placed my hands on either side of his face and kissing him passionately.
