Realization

Song: breaking the habit

Waking up to the sweet smell of pancakes. I saw none of my Pokemon in my room, so I got up and got dressed for the day and fixed my hair as well as did all my bathroom requirements

Heading into the living room/kitchen area, I see all the Pokemon eating breakfast, except for Litty. (2/oc) was cooking breakfast "morning sleepy head, sleep well?"

"Yeah, some days I'd wake up to my brother working on Pokemon moves by his Pokemon actually using the move"

"Ouch, well, most of my Pokemon aren't that hyper. Anyways there is a place of breakfast for you on tbe table, eat up. By the way, Lizzy wanted to go out and explore"

"Thanks (2/oc) and thanks again for letting me know. Lizzyy loves to sleep in different locations to see which spots are good for napping"

"No need to thank me, also we can take turns making breakfast so we both get some good sleep"

"Sounds fair" taking a bite of my food as I see her turn off the stove, cleaning everything up. Finally grabbing her food she walked over and sat down across from me to eat "what do you plan to do today?"

"Probably gonna help the trainer school kids learn about bug types"

"Don't you go there a lot?"

"Yeah, but i like helping them, especially when I can teach them about why bug type Pokemon are just as strong as other types"

"You do have a point there"

"What do you have planned today?"

"I may go back to the library for some more reading"

"Your different from your brother, you know that?" She took a few more bites as we talked

"Obviously, I'm not obsessed learning about Pokemon moves like he is"

"What I meant is, when you two love something you develop a passion for it. Its a good thing"

"I guess, besides. Pokemon are very interesting. We can learn so much about them"

"That is true" we finished our food

(2/oc) was on the couch playing with her bug Pokemon while they also played with each other. Ribbon and Vivi both watching TV instead of goofing around. She didn't head to the trainer school till 11, so she spent whatever time she had with her Pokemon. Since the library opened at 9, and it was 8:30, I returned my Pokemon to their pokeball and looked to my friend "I'm heading out, make sure your not late to the school"

"Have fun, and I will. Ribbon will make sure, Heh"

"Bombee!"

"Good, Heh. See ya later"

"See ya!"

Shutting the door as I headed to the library. All my Pokemon were in their pokeball, except for Litty since she was out finding good napping spots

I was taking a nap when I heard a lot of hissing outside of the police station, groaning I stood up to check what was wrong with all the Meowths now

Once I got outside I see they all were hissing at the fire alolan starter, a female Litten with a collar too

"Shush all of you" all the Meowths stopped hissing then went inside the police station, most likely going to laze about. Looking back at the Litten as it stared at me "now who do you belong to?" Kneeling down to try and get the closest I can to its level as I held my hand out to it. I've always been fond of cat pokemon, they were always more laid back and relaxed

The Litten sniffed my hand then turned around and ran off into the woods. Scratching my head confused on why it ran off, then I remembered the collar 'it must have an owner'

Heading back into the station I sat on the couch laying across it and put a book on my face and went back to sleep

Once I got to the library I sat down and continued to read the books I checked out yesterday so I could finish the story. It was about a girl who fell for a guy who didn't have a care in the world. The book intrigued me by how it wasn't the plot I was used to

A few hours passed as i stretched and closed the book after marking my spot. I was starting to get hungry so i stood up and left the library to get something to eat

<nanu's pov>

I was having a peaceful nap till someone knocked the book off my face, opening one eye to see it was the Litten again. She pawed my face then jumped onto the window sill looking back at me

"What is it?"

"Lit" she jumped out the window so I stood up and walked outside seeing her in front if the door now

"What do you want?" Obviously I couldn't get an answer back but I still had to ask since this Litten woke me up

She turned and walked towards the woods then looked back at me, probably wanting me to follow her. Sighing I left the building after shutting the door, following the Litten now, since she was probably not going to leave me alone unless I followed her

Yawning as I left the cafe. It was getting late and I had to get home soon, deciding to make my way home now

The view on my way home was beautiful, it made me think of what I was gonna do as I got older. (2nd/oc) knew what she was gonna do with her life, but I still had no clue. So far I just knew I loved pokemon and that I knew I liked to learn more about them

I sighed till I saw the grass rustling in front of me, I was near the hotel too. That's when Lizzy walked out of the bushes and walked a bit towards me

"Litten"

"Lizzy, I thought you'd be inside already. What are you still doing outside?"

Then I saw Nanu walk out of the woods a minute after Lizzy

"Oh, so this is your Litten. It showed up at my place then left, then it just came back. She didn't leave till I followed her"

I was shocked to see Nanu here, especially because Lizzy had him follow her probably wanting me to make a friend other than (2nd/oc)

"Um yea, that's Lizzy. I'm sorry she bothered you" bowing to show my apology

"Whatever, she didn't bother me really. Just confused on why a Litten was this far out"

"O-oh. Ok. Well it was nice seeing you again"

"Sure, see you whenever" he left back into the woods probably back to his place

Lizzy and I went inside and did the normal stuff we did. (2nd/oc) was home and I told her I'd cook dinner, so once dinner was done we ate then headed to bed a few hours after
