Pidge's POV
I woke up to the sound of my very annoying alarm clock going off. I turned off the alarm and threw my head down on the pillow not wanting to get up. Matt suddenly burst in the door with excitement.
"What do you want?" I asked sleepily.
"Today's the day me and dad go into space!" Matt screamed. Matt ran back downstairs and I got put of bed and put on my usual clothes then walked downstairs. Mum and Matt were standing in the living room and Dad was sitting in the kitchen reading the newspaper.
"Hi Dad" I say happily. He puts down the paper to look at me.
"Hey Katie, You know what happens today?" He asks.
"Yea, You and Matt get to go into space without me" I say sadly looking at the floor.
"We'll be back sooner that you know" He says lifting my head up and hugging me and I hug back not wanting to let go.
