It has just turned dusk; the sun setting behind the gloomy clouds. I lay still on a surface as hard as a cement wall with an intense draft floating through a prison- like room. I feel my head pounding against my skull. As it kept pounding, the vibration intensifies driving me into a black abyss. An agonizing burning sensation suddenly rippled through the entire of my body. My heart is drowning in the toxin, shredding it into pieces. Hours of isolation have gone by, I lay remaining; letting my charcoal-like heart combust into millions of ashes. Hours went by, I still withered in unbearable pain; unable to grasp reality. My blood boiled under my pale skin, to my observation it looked almost transparent and felt icy cold, cold enough to give you hypothermia. All of a sudden I felt my gum slice open. I lifted my frigid hand up to the gum and felt something sharp. I continued to graze the pointy object that erupted from my sore gums, trying to process what this means. My soul no longer gave off the essence of life anymore. It was now an empty soulless carcass that had no reason to live.

Something odd is happening. My throat seemed to ache; my thirst. I was thirsty for Blood. My sharp incisors begged for blood. I could almost taste the sweet, iron liquid even though I was still in complete darkness. I felt someone touch my hand in reality, a human hand. I grab the human’s hand and deeply drank. As the bloody substance hit my mouth I wanted to vomit. It tasted disgusting almost like if someone dared you to kill an animal and drink its blood. After a while I got used to the taste. The blood coated my mouth; the frenzy almost made it impossible to stop. I finally realized… That I, Ella Patton, am a Vampire.
