The day after the earthquake I went to the store to buy pet food and maybe a few other items. The store was damaged, all the street lights flickered and turned off. My car wasn't starting up again so I tried to call for help but I didn't get any service right now which is weird. I grabbed my puppy and put my phone in my pocket and started running to the house. I looked around and nobody was outside. there were bright candles lit sitting on every windowsill.
I finally made it home. my brother, Daniel, was laying on the living rooms couch. I looked around. The window was broken. I went to Daniel, he had bullet wound in his chest. There was no way to get him the the ER.
After an hour of panicking the power turned back on. I grabbed Daniel and put him on my back and ran as fast as I could with Lily the puppy chasing after. when I got to the car ami put him in the back seat and put Lily in the passenger seat. I started driving and went a little past the speeding limit.
