I paused... reading this out loud would be difficult for me, it was difficult to read the letter to myself let alone my crew. I knew I had to so I continued
"We have been stuck on this awful island for many moons and we need help. You might think I'm crazy but there's magic here: dragons, unicorns, fire birds, angels and worst of all demons."
suddenly Shooter shouted out "What does this have to do with us?"
So of course I responded with "You'll see."
Then I continued "Many of us are already gone, liz and theo we're amongst them. The demons are terrible beasts and the dragons are ferocious creatures. But still this world is so beautiful Captain would have loved this place. Oh right! whoever found this make sure it gets to the "Redskull" ship. Anyways we finished our mission Captain! The "Blueheart" ship has been destroyed and raided! I miss you Captain. Sincerely Damian."
I finished reading the letter. All of the crew is staring at me they expect me to speak, to be their Captain again.
"All right everyone ready the sails we're going to save our friends!"
