"Good night mom" I said as I left her room and headed to fluffy haven,

Night time has always been my best time of the day, not because I get to go clubbing or I get to have long phone calls with my irresistible boyfriend, which I don't have or I stuff my mouth with my secret stash of chocolate.

It's all because at night I get the opportunity to read all my favorite books with no distraction of any kind.

I plopped myself on my long awaited friend, and took out my phone from my pajama pockets, my two sisters Claire and Evelyn were fast asleep on their separate beds.

I had Wattpad on my home screen just beside my phone icon, I tapped on it and I saw the 'Welcome home, adriqueen', hey I'm not the best at usernames,so don't cringe.

I tapped on my library and saw that 'Arikay12' hadn't updated on love cafe, I shook my head, this is why, Naomi never reads works in progress but I on the other hand don't mind, so I decided to re read the last three chapters all over again, as I was lost in my book, I felt a tug on my shirt,

"Evie, what's up? Couldn't sleep?" I asked Evelyn as I patted my laps and she got into my bed,

"Yeah," she said I hugged her and placed a light kiss on her forehead,

"Okay, you'll sleep with me tonight ,okay?" I asked and she nodded her head and got herself accustomed to the right side of my soft bed, when I saw Claire jump onto the bed,

"Claire!!, you almost broke my leg" I half yelled as I held the area she had practically jumped on,

"I'm sorry Adri, not my fault you guys were having a sleep over and didn't invite me?" She said as she got behind Evelyn,

"We sleep in the same room, isn't that much of a sleep over every single day?" I asked as I looked at my cramped bed,

"But this is much more fun," Claire exclaimed,

"Oh my Lord... Claire, go to your bed...." I said as Evie interrupted me,

"You guys know mom and Dad could wake up any moment now" she said and then I realized we were actually being a bit loud for 11 pm,

"Okay girls, shush... And Claire you can stay the night here, now can we all go to sleep" I asked as Claire did a small victory dance and Evie nodded, just as we were about to all fall asleep Colby walked in. Could this night get any worse?

"I heard a lot of noise so I decided to... Woah, sleepover and no one invited me? Not fair girls," he said as he placed a hand over his heart feigning heart broken,

"Uhm, Adri isn't our heart on the left side of our chest? Why is Colby's heart on the right?" Evie asked as we all took notice of Colby and saw he was clutching the right side of his chest, and at that moment Claire and I broke into laughter,

"Evie, Colby is a dummy, maybe that's why his heart is by his right" Claire said as Colby glared at her, he rushed toward the bed and jumped on Claire,

"Hey!!! You guys stop it" I said as they start tackling each other, "Colby, if you want to spend the night here, then find a spot and get comfortable, y'all supposed to be asleep and you're stopping Evie from falling asleep... So good night, if I hear one more sound from either of you, I'm kicking you both of my bed" I said as the both nodded and stopped whatever they were doing.

I took my phone and switched it off, since I had company tonight I won't be able to concentrate on my phone so its best I sleep.

And soon we all drifted to sleep.

"Adriana Elizabeth King!!!" My mom yelled, I opened my eyes and saw my mom standing in front of me with her hands on her waist, now that wasn't a good sign I sat up and cleaned my eyes and it was then I noticed that sunlight had filled our room, I glanced at the alarm clock beside my bed, it was 7:05 am,

"Shit" I said as I noticed the kids sprawled across my bed,

"Well good morning to you too" she said as I stood up from my bed almost tripping over my duvet,

"Morning mom, I can explain..." I started but she shut me up,

"We'll talk later, just get your siblings out of bed they have 25 more minutes till school" she said as she woke Evie up and walked to the bathroom with her leaving me with the two bags of corn flour on my bed.

"Today seems pretty eventful" I said as I proceeded to waking up the twins.
