Hufflepuff has the largest number of lgbtq+ peeps. cuz whenever da gay peeps come out and if they receive any shit da Hufflepuffs basically just adopt and then they just chill there after classes and sleep in the dorms.
Another part, when designing the dorms Helga made is so the dorms have an undetectable extension charm and each pupils little area (bed, desk and wall space) can be designed and changed no matter the owner to their preferences. And because of this magic little ability of dorms new people can just be adopted into Hufflepuff and the bed, desk and wall space is immediately added for da new pupil.
