Stranded with magic

Prologue

It was a gorgeous night the stars reflected on the calm waters .I was on the main deck hiding from my overprotective mom and my loud father. Again.I was also hoping to bump into a new friend, acquaintance I wasn't sure what to call him.We had happened upon each other in the library.I had dropped all my books and he had helped me gather them up.We had exchanged names and went our separate ways. But after days of no one to talk too I was in desperate need of a friend. But on a ship as large as this including a library,pool,dining hall,spa,and baggage compartment and most people are stuck up.Now I know that sounds rude but the reason I didn't list gym is because sweating is for peasants so says the steward who I asked about where to find one.Suddenly I heard a loud voice I jumped.Its just chase said the friendly dark haired boy. Hi.So why are you on this lovely ship?Well we're here for the signing of an important document and to see an old family friend who's stuck up pig of a boy there trying to set me up with and did I mention spoiled. And I now should apologize I just lost my temper. Ah nah I'd lose my temper to some parents you got there. Mm and what about yours what are they like.He chuckled but a hint of longing I don't think he even knew hung to it.They have always been loss and now I get to live on a boat for the summer.We so different but should we know each other better I think we would be friends. Suddenly I saw a blue glow I looked up and there was a huge hand made of water.Then it reached down and grabbed us up in wet fingers and we were under the water black and purple blurs arms gripping me a scaly tail and NOTHING.
