Dovewing woke up and yawned. Ivypool was still in her nest snoring and twitching. What could it hurt if she went out of camp and went to catch prey? 

She silently slipped through the bramble wall. She was lucky that Brambleclaw didn't appoint a guard that night. I can't believe I'm doing this! I need to be known as the cat to save the clans! She thought. Firestar would be very dissapointed if she didn't come back with prey or herbs. 

She ended up bringing marigold, watermint, and a bit of catmint. Jayfeather was still asleep so she hid it in a corner of camp and went back to her nest. For some reason Ivypool was wet and bleeding

"Ivypool! Ivypool! Wake up! You're hurt!" She whispered.

"I-i'm fine..... Urgh... Go back to sleep." She mumbled. She didn't look happy that Dovewing woke her up. Should I get Jayfeather? She silently asked herself. She finally decided that if she got Jayfeather, neither of them would be happy. Plus, Jayfeather would try to tell Ivypool to stop going to the Dark Forest, and then Ivypool would get mad at her. 

THE NEXT MORNING

Dovewing waited until dawn to grab the herbs and take full credit from Jayfeather. She needed to be special. Ivypool was invited on a patrol. Ugh why does she always get to work and Firestar makes me do boring stuff!? Why does she get to do fun stuff? I don't understand! She cursed silently. She loved her sister but Ivypool could be so annoying sometimes! She padded over to Whitewing and they talked in front of the Elder's Den for a while.

Ivypool finally got back and looked kind of flustered and lovey dovey. 

"Hey Ivypool, what happened? You look... H-happier than normal. I don't mean to offend you or anything but... this is strange." I said, flinching.

"Why do you always have to ask? I just embarrassed myself, okay? You always have to be so nosy! Why don't you just be happy for me for once?" Ivypool looked super angry and she dropped her freshkill on the pile before she stormed off.
