Introduction:
A group of strangers find themselves on board a dinner cruise ship sailing along the coast, just off of the Philippines. The ship filled with the sound of laughter, music and a warm atmospheric vibe that flowed with the ship. Everybody was enjoying life in the moment aboard this luxurious Yacht. Unbeknown to them all, that an unusually strong tide current, was pulling them off course, slowly, or rather quickly in fact, drifting them on into unpleasant waters....
While the guests dined and the waiters served, up on the bridge the Captain observed intently, noticing that they had indeed drifted of course! Looking into the distance at the faint line of the horizon splitting the dark depths of the ocean below and the black vastness of space above. He saw a light beaming towards them, although far away in the background, visible none the less through a pair of binoculars. As the hours passed Captain Hastings realised that the light he saw was getting closer and closer! Until it was close enough for Captain Hastings to see clearly, WHAT or more importantly WHO it was!
As feared Hastings realises that after drifting off course they have wandered into waters known for being deadly, not from monsters or the sea below but from the greed and filth that sail above it! He knows these pirates are known for their treacherous acts and most of all for their reputation in stealing boats to sell for a fortune on the underground markets. At once Captain Hastings orders his First mate Arthur Yates to put as much distance between them as possible while they still had time!
However the pirates know these waters very well, and despite all efforts, manage to keep up. Any struggle to get to safety was useless, as the weather had been very unusual for that time of year, the same strange current that had pulled them off course in the first place had now turned into a raging storm! With 20 foot waves crashing all over the boats, both Captain Hastings and the Pirates were both caught up in this mayhem!
What was once smiles and laughter on board, had now been replaced with terrified screaming as the yacht is tossed about like a leaf in a hurricane. The sound of glasses and cutlery smashing on the ship deck, tables and chairs being crushed and washed overboard, along with anyone who got caught in the deck surge! The ship's hull; huge sheets of metal being twisted and ripped apart and the howling whistle of the wind and rain ringing in the ears of any who had the strength left to hang on!
