<~> Amber POV <~>
I tapped my paws on the table. I scanned the room. Pairs of Pokemon sitting together, chatting, having conversation. And there I was, sitting, waiting for my sweet tea. My ears swiveled around for a moment- then stopped. I overheard a voice, and a pounding on a table. "WHERE IS SHE?!" A shout clearly rang in her ears. I quickly brought my attention to the waiter bring my tea. The shouts of demand were drowned out, at least for now, by the café's loud music. "Here you are miss. Enjoy your night." The waiter said as they walked off. I took a sip of the tea. Ugh, unsweet... I sighed. It was then I noticed an Umbreon in a brown trench coat and sunglasses standing beside my table.
"Can I help you?" I asked. "Have you seen this Deerling anywhere?" the Umbreon slid a paper onto the table. I took a glance at it, then looked up at the Umbreon. That was when I noticed he was getting a tad impatient. I got immediately got suspicious. A trench coat, and sunglasses indoors. "So what if I did? What're you gonna do about it?" I asked. "I don't know, what am I going to do about it? Possibly... shoot you? Or perhaps a good, cold-hearted interrogation will change your mind?" The Umbreon growled. "Right. I'd prefer neither. I haven't seen her, but I did hear some guys across town talking about her. Something about a shipping boat and Kalos." I answered. "Alright. Come with me." The Umbreon demanded. "What? Why should I! I'm just trying to rel-AACK!" I was pulled by the arm harshly out of my seat, practically dragged out of the café.
<~> 3rd Person <~>
Amber was tugged into an alleyway suddenly. She had been walking alone for a few minutes after she had pointed the Umbreon in the way of the port. It wasn't long before there was a sharp metal object threatening her throat. She wriggled, and the pokémon holding her hostage only held the object closer. Amber looked up, getting a clear view. A Liepard, her sinister eyes narrowed. "You'll do, I saw him with you." The Liepard hissed, then yawned. "What are you talking about! What are you gonna... do... with.... me..." Amber was slowly lulled to sleep, by only what she could describe as a pulling force.
Amber woke up, her arms tied tightly behind her where she was on the chair. It didnt take long to see what event had happened. The Liepard from earlier, crouched over the fallen, yet still conscious, Umbreon from earlier. He was covered in scuff marks, while the Liepard was virtually untouched. "You won't get away with this, Villainess." The Umbreon coughed. "Oh? And who's to stop me?" The Liepard stood, still facing away from Amber. Amber saw the Umbreon's gaze meet hers. Then she remembered. She closed her eyes, and her gem began to glow. "My plan is already underway. I've captured your... friend! Her life, for your surrender, detective." The Liepard smirked, oblivious to the forming Moon Blast. "Think again, Villainess." The Umbreon smirked. "Huh?" Villainess swirled around, her eyes widening. The Moon Blast connected, causing an almost bomb-like explosion. Amber clenched her eyes shut, and from what she saw, so did the Umbreon. When she opened them, the Liepard was on the ground, knocked out. The Umbreon, despite being injured, made quick work, limping over to Amber and untying her. "Come on, let's go. Before her grunts come in and see her." The Umbreon ushered Amber out. "Where are we going?"
"My base of operations."
