Alpha, beta, omega. Most people had never heard of them before. But they've become common in the last 25 or so years. They're the second genders everyone has. Each is a little complecated,so to put it simply, alpha means you're dominant, beta means you're just a normal human and omega means you're submissive. Bad explanation, but that's the short story. Omega's are the rarest gender to find. Here in LA at least. It differs from place to place but here, Omega's are stupidly hard to find. The statistic is 1 in 100. Super rare. If someone meets an omega, they tend to act like you've just told them you're pregnant. Something that Zac was used to. He's come to just tell people he's a beta and never forget to take his pills. The collage he goes too has a lot of alpha's. There's usually about five in every class he attends. Being an omega, Zac tented to stray from people and not form close relationships. He had a few close friends, but everyone else was just a face he knew the name of. His closest friend was someone he met back when he was 13. Her name was Eliza. It was an old name, but once you saw her you'd see it suits her. Eliza was a tall, beautiful girl with long brown hair and perfect brown eyes. Her voice was like an angles and even more so when she sang. She was mature but was always the joker of the class. Zac was almost the opposite. His long hair was always in a messy pony tail and dyed some crazy colour every other month, this month was pink, and there were always some beads laced in his hair because he liked them. The boy had a tongue piercing and was almost always adorning an item of clothing that was pitch black. He was shorter than Eliza, but not by that much. Zac had dark brown eyes that appeared black in any other light than sunlight, and his voice had a sweet tone although his words often had harsh intent. Today, April 16, Zac was dangling from a tree branch on campus as him and Eliza talked about their last show. Both were partaking in shows, however only Zac wanted to be on the acting side. Eliza wanted to focus more on hair and make up, and a close friend of Eliza's was working on costume design and choreography. "See, if I had held the curling iron on just a bit longer-" Eliza began from the bench she was sat on. "They wouldn't have needed redoing in the second half. I heard you the first time, and the other forty-nine times." Zac finished with a huff, shifting the lollipop in his mouth from one side to the other. "At least you didn't almost fall off the stage back when we did Heathers." He huffed once more, cringing at the thought. Eliza laughed softly. "You're still hung up on that?! Let it go, man. It was last year." She teased and he poked his tongue out. "Shut up Liz. Where's Chris? His class just finished." He said, obviously commenting on the people now filing out of a building to their left. Chris, or Christen, was a friend of Eliza's. "Ah, there he is." Zac said as Eliza went to open her mouth. As Chris walked forward to them, both smirked and began to do the one thing they knew annoyed Chris. "Christine~ Christine~ Christinee~ Canigula Christine~" They both sang in a teasingly sweet tone. All three friends were musical geeks, and knew all the newer musicals rather than the older ones. After the two close friends opened their mouths, Chris flipped them both off while walking over to them. "Quit it, both of you." He said with a soft chuckle. Chris was most likely the nicest guy on campus. Until you pissed him off, of course. Chris had dark black hair but bright blue eyes. He had slightly defined muscles from dancing and an eyebrow piercing. Chris sat on the bench next to Eliza, facing the tree Zac was hanging from. "Why are you two here?" He questioned. "Waiting for you, duh. We had a dance to practice?" Eliza said and Zac groaned. "Oh fuck I forgot." He whined as Chris poked his forehead. "You might want to get that memory of yours checked. I did text you." Chris hummed. Zac sighed and changed so he was sat upright on the tree. "Take a guess where my phone is." He spat at Chris. "Up your ass." Eliza commented. "No that's at three. After my scheduled dinner with disappointment and my therapy session with go fuck yourself." Zac glared while holding his middle finger up to them both, mainly Eliza. All three laughed after that. They found the dumb, not funny things funny. That was why they all got along. After the giggles died down, Zac got off the tree and headed further onto the grass, being followed by the other two.
"Lets go then." Chris said with a smile while pulling out his phone for music.
