Hope For The Underrated Youth (YUNGBLUD)

Chapter 1

"Luca! Wake up!" Someone yelled. I groaned as I rolled over and pulled the cover over my head. "Come on, man! We gotta go." He pulled the blanket off my body and threw it on the floor. I whine as I turn and look at him. "What time is it?" I rub my eyes as I adjust to the light blaring through my window. He grabbed his phone and looked. "8.32 am" I die on the inside. "Why so early?" I mumble. "You're meeting the guys today." he shrugs and leaves me to get ready.

I sigh softly and slowly get up and walk into my bathroom and get a shower. I turn on Spotify and press shuffle. On comes "Parents" by best friends band, Yungblud. Do I even call them that? It's just a singer, but my friend plays with him and another dude. But anyway, I sing along loudly to the music as I wash my body and hair before climbing out and getting ready. Once I'm dressed, I walk over to my full-length mirror and look myself over. I look okay. I quickly put on some simple eyeliner. It's not like I'm trying to impress anyone.

I grab my phone, headphones, charger and leather jacket after shoving my military-style boots on and walking downstairs.

"Finally!" The guy who's my best friend yelled, laughing. I roll my eyes and smile. "Sorry that I didn't want to look like shit." I laugh along with him. This time he rolled his eyes. "Let's go. The guys are already there." I nod and smile, following him out to the car and jumping shotgun. He hands me the aux cord, and I connect, blasting out music. With that, we set off to wherever we were meeting the guys.
