"You're staring again." Peter hears his friend Ned say as they arrive back at his Aunt May's house walking right towards the front door. Peter was staring as you were leaving your house to walk your dog. You and Peter were next door neighbors. It started when you moved in the neighborhood last year. After that first day in the new neighborhood he had stopped by to welcome your family then you and Peter became good friends.

Shortly after..he began to develop feelings for you. The way you laughed, your ideas, your goals, the way you worked hard in everything you could. He found you truly intriguing.

Ned nudged his arm after noticing you were long gone on your walk. Shaking Peter out of it and turning towards him.

"W-what?" Peter says trying to seem present in the conversation but Ned knew better.

"Dude just go ask her out!" Ned smirks. Peter then shakes his head nervously laughing. 

"N-no i i don't think she would..say yes." Peter nervously stutters as he quickly walks inside following Ned and closing it. Aunt May calls for Peter and he lets her know they'll be in his room. Finally they arrive into his room as they sit down in the chair and on the bed. 

"Peter, she totally likes you back man." 

"How do you know?" Peter slightly scoffs. Making Ned smile.

"Dude.." Ned then stands up walking towards Peter and places his hand on Peter's shoulder.

"I know a lot about women. Believe me....she totally likes you man." Ned pulls on his shirt trying to look confident and wise, Peter then chuckles and shakes his head in disbelief. 

"I just....i don't know Ned.." Peter sighs as he looks down. Ned sighs as he pats his shoulder gently a few times.

"Just be yourself...and surprise her. Better yet maybe just simply do..what is it called?..." Ned thinks for a brief moment. "Court her!" He exclaims. Peter inhales a deep slow breathe then exhales quietly, he stares around briefly knowing full well Ned won't let go unless he atleast thinks it over.

"I'll think about it.." Peter says in quick defeat. Ned does a victory fist bump to himself and sits back down on the bed. After a few hours of Peter and Ned messing with homework for an hour, then fixing up some legos Ned finally heads home after getting picked up. 

Peter then turns on his computer and searches up what to do for courting you. For the next few days as Peter continues to plan, he continues trying to treat you normally. Growing more and more nervous as the day for his plan to go will finally happen. 

You noticed Peter was acting weird but didn't mention it. Assuming he must've met someone and couldn't tell you. Making you sad that you lost your chance with Peter, but you hid it from him.

-----about a week later-------

It's now after school and all were heard were laughing and teasing of your fellow school mates as they walked towards the doors to head on home since school was now over. As usual, you and Peter walk towards the bus stop to take the bus home. You walk inside towards the back with Peter following behind. You pat on the seat next to you to see what's been going on.
