Kole Jadenever had much of a conventional childhood. For as long as he could remember, he and his mother moved from system to system, never really settling anywhere, on the run from something . He had dreams, strange dreams and horrific nightmares about places he'd never been, people he'd never seen. His mother taught him about the Force, the power they had, how to to use it to his advantage, to defend himself. It was just them against the whole galaxy, she was his whole galaxy. And then she was taken from him. By the man that had been the catalyst to the Empire's destruction. The man the galaxy had hailed as its savior. Luke Skywalker.
A festering hatred was born. A hatred shared by the Imperial Remnant that took him in, led by Lumiya, their enigmatic leader. Even after years of training, she saw him as a disappointment, lacking the makings of a true warrior. So, she sent him away to train amongst his peers the future of the Empire in the Academy, where he would uncover a web of discoveries and lies that ran deeper than he could have possibly imagined.
▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪ Author's Note It feels good to get this one off the ground. My momentary writing hiatus is over. Greetings everyone! This is an idea I've had floating around in my head for a while now. With Rise of Skywalker approaching, I thought it was time I finally began. This is the first of four planned books, taking place six years before TFA and 24 years after ROTJ. It's an AU of sorts, so whilethingswill follow the movies for the most part, there will be a few differences. There's also the fact that I'll be going off of a few of my own theories, which will probably possibly definitely be proven wrong by Rise of Skywalker. There will be things incorporated from the now non-canon EU, for anyeagle-eyedfans who spot those references and easter eggs, consider me J.J Abrams. Nah, I don't have the guts to make a Star Wars movie. Dealingwith half the fanbase hating your work no matter what you do, just isn't it. Now without further ado, let's get things rolling!
