- And I'm gonna teach dogs how to help blind people.

- See! It's amazing! It's...it's beautiful!

The three girls sat at a table, talking about those last five months. Jane was so happy for Mallory, she was part of the rare who managed to get out of the South with not too much problems. And the fact that she was living with Max was even better, she was sure she was ok, and she could see her more now.

The blonde had to go back to work so the two girls let her alone, going to see someone else. They arrived in front of an old house, and, when they put a foot on the grass, a dog barked and ran to them, followed by a cat. Jane crouched and took her two animals in her arms, all happy to see each other.

- Dog! Can you be quiet for on—Jane!?

The purple-haired girl froze at her door, not expecting to see her best friend right in front of her. Jane stood with a smile and began to walk to her, while the dog was jumping on Max like to thank her for bringing back her owner.

- That's how you talk to my dog!? chuckled Jane.

- He is loud! Like his owner! joked Melissa.

The black girl opened her arms and wrapped them around Jane before raising her up.

- I knew you would come back! stated Melissa.

- Why wouldn't I? I'm lost without all of you! answered Jane.

- I know! That's why I never doubted!

The purple head put the other girl on the floor, and invited all of them to come inside for a moment. They sat on the couch, Dog and Cat on Jane's lap, talking about their lives and what was going to happen next.

After two hours, Max and Jane left, and went back to the redhead's apartment. Melissa kept the dog and the cat as Jane still hadn't a place to stay. They sat on the couch, exhausted, until they heard a knock.

- I think it's for you, smirked Max.

Jane frowned, but stood anyway. When she opened the door, she saw Lucas, Dustin and Beverly, as surprised as her.

- What's up? smiled Jane.

The three friends ran in the girl's arms. Jane chuckled, surprised by this amount of love. She was so happy to see all of them now, after all she had done to them, they were still there for her, it never happened before! Once they all greeted her, they sat on the couches.

- I'm so happy to see you! told Bev. You look so great!

- Thank you, answered Jane, a bit embarrassed by the compliments.

- You're clean, clean, now? asked Dustin.

- Yeah, I guess.

- You've someone to keep an eye on you? said Lucas.

- Well, I found some group talks for former alcoholics and former drugs addict, and I have a referrer in each groups so...I guess it's fine. And I still do some meditation for my anger.

- Oh, that's cool! What kind of meditation? asked Bev.

- I don't know, it's something with the breathing, like, focusing on it to empty your mind or something like that, it's the only thing which works on me.

- Oh nice! Max should try!

- I'm never angry! intervened the redhead.

- No never, you're not ready to kill everyone when you play Mario Kart!

- Oh yeah! You were so angry when I won last time! added Jane.

Beverly, Dustin and Lucas looked at each other before watching Max with their eyebrows raised.

- They didn't have to know! told Max.

- Wait!? Jane kicked your ass and you didn't tell!? That's amazing! stated Dustin.

- I let her win!

- Yeah, she "let me win", mocked Jane.

Max playfully pushed her while the others were laughing. Later in the night, they were joined by Mallory and Clarissa. The teens spent the night talking and eating, enjoying this moment together. When Bev, Dustin and Lucas decided to go, the four girls went to sleep, exhausted by this day.

When Max woke up, it was almost lunch time. She turned to her right and saw her girlfriend still sleeping on her belly. She tucked her hair being her ear and placed a soft kiss on her cheek before getting out of the bed. She didn't know if she should prepare a breakfast or directly the lunch. She didn't even know when Jane was going to wake up. She took something to eat before going back to her bed. She wanted to enjoy every moment with her, even if it meant watching videos on her computer while Jane was lightly snoring next to her.

It was the beginning of the afternoon when Jane opened her eyes. She quickly looked around, wondering where she was and hoping she didn't do something stupid, but instantly felt better when she saw her girlfriend next to her.

- You slept 15 hours, stated Max.

- Really? I never slept this much before, mumbled Jane.

- Are you hungry? I can prepare you something to eat or drink if you want?

- No, I'm fine, stay here.

- Ok, smiled the redhead. What do you wanna do today? Do you have some people you wanna see?

- No, I wanna do nothing.

- Cool, I'm the best at this, joked Max.

Jane slowly rolled on her back, her Teddy bear in her right hand, before snuggling against Max. The two girls spent the day in bed, watching Disney movies and eating some snacks, cuddling each other. It was a perfect day.
