What a wonder it is to feel as though the world is against me. But then I calmly reassure myself that I am a teenager — we feel this way every day. I'm not special. There are millions in the world like me and trillions that have come before. Always thinking the same things... like we were programmed that way. Like individual copies of a larger organism. Replaying the same codes in our heads. Over and over again. Like we are cells in a never ending universe of chaos. Which, deep down we really are. We matter in the small ways... we keep the universe running — though ironically we are also slowly destroying it. But we won't matter in the long run. Like skin cells, we will leave this bodied earth and travel to a far off land. Only a memory to our still thriving home and until... eventually... we are replaced. Forgotten . As the cycle had begun again.
