Life had been perfect, well it always had. That's what Remus Lupin thought at least, he had a perfect husband, a child, a small but happy family, great friends, and everything had been great if you didn't count the wars and battles he had been through. But it all had to end someday, right? Right now he was laying on a hospital bed in St. Mungo's with his husband on the bed next to him, they were holding hands with their arms hanging over the sides of the beds, Harry was sitting in a chair on the opposed wall reading a book, Draco had left the room ten minutes earlier to get some coffee and to call his mother to ask how their kids were doing. 

They had been in St. Mungo's for the past three months after their health had started to get worse, first it had been Remus and then a few days later Sirius, they were already old and Remus knew that he didn't have long before this perfect life had to end, "Harry?" Sirius asked, their son's face turned to look at him "Yes, Sirius?" He asked putting his book down, "Can you get me a glass of water?" He asked, Harry, got up and walked out of the room, "Remus" Sirius said to the man lying next to him "What is it?" Remus asked turning to look at his husband, even after all of these years Sirius still had his long dark hair, it had gotten some gray strands over the years but it still looked good and he still had that mischevious spark on his eyes "I don't think I have much time left" He said smiling at Remus sadly, Remus smiled back with tears in his eyes "I know, me neither" He said back, they just looked at each other, thinking about the lovely life they had, they didn't regret a single decision they had made.

Harry walked into the room that his parents, well parents, for the most part, had resided in. The other bed was now empty and the other had been moved next to the window where the man lying in it could see outside, "Hey, Sirius" He said as he put his jacket on one of the chairs in the room, when he got no answer from him he walked over to the bed and that's when he noticed it. His godfather was laying in the bed with his eyes closed and a smile spread across his face, he was pale and his heart wasn't beating anymore.

Sirius opened my eyes and found himself at king's cross, he looked around and when he turned to look behind him, he saw Remus standing there, he was the young twenty-one year old from decades ago. Sirius ran over to him and embraced him for the first time in weeks, months even, "Is James here?" He asked while tears ran down his cheeks, Remus wiped them away and nodded. They got on the train and it took them to Godric's Hollow, they walked into the house of their best friends, "I'm home" Remus calls into the house and the next thing Sirius sees in Lily's red hair as she hugs him tightly, she leads them into the living room and Sirius sees James sitting on the couch facing away from them. "James?" Sirius asks, James perks up and turns around, when he sees his best friend, no, his brother's face he gets up and runs over to Sirius and hugs him tight as if he would disappear if he let go, "I've missed you so much" He sais as he buries his face into Sirius's shoulder "I missed you too, I didn't know you were such a cry baby thought" Sirius says, James laughs into his shoulder.

Over the years all of their loved ones join them one by one, Sirius and Remus live in the house next to Lily's and James'. Sirius still remembers when he saw Regulus for the first time since school, they hugged each other for almost fifteen minutes and Regulus stayed over for dinner and they promised to stay in contact. 

After almost thirty years Sirius and Remus finally wake up one day in the king's cross, they know who's coming and can't wait for any longer when Harry finally arrives and sees them his eye's well up with tears and he hugs them. When Sirius and Remus take him to meet his parents he can't control his tears, he and his parents share a hug. Lily makes dinner for them and they catch up, Sirius starts to cry when he sees Harry and James together, he still remembers when he saw Harry for the first time after being released from Azkaban. A few days later when Draco dies he finds himself at king's cross and when he and Harry get to the Potter's house, where Harry introduces him to his parents, James is doubtful at first after he learns that Draco is a Malfoy but after talking to him for a while he realizes that he's better than his family, Lily is just happy that Harry found someone that loves her son. When they ask if Harry and Draco would like to live with them the two of them except and wait for their children to arrive.

That's it, I hope that you enjoyed it, I'm not that good at writing these short ones because I always start to explain things so much and it just turns out to be a fifty part full-blown fanfic.
