Bela & Mal

You again

   Bela was walking through the woods on his way to the market. His mother had asked him to go buy them some food. Bela liked being a helpful boy so he went happily.

    Being in the woods made Bela feel alive. He practiced some of his spellwork as he went. Mal sensed Bela was coming and made sure she would be in his way. She had developed a crush on Bela; he was cute after all, and Mal felt she could always use a new boyfriend.

   As Bela came into view, Mal fixed her hair and pouted her lips. When Bela saw that it was Mal who was blocking his path his heart did flip flops. Wow, he thought to himself. I can't believe it's her...

    Mal sprang into action. "You again! Hey!", she said, smiling wickedly. Bela smiled too; it looked as if Mal had been waiting for him. Bela thought Mal was looking cute too.

     "Hey Mal", he said, blushing.
