It was 8:45 am in the Mushroom Kingdom. The people were usually still asleep right now. The early morning light streamed through the window in the in his room. The morning birds sang sweetly, but all he wanted was to stay in bed. He felt...peaceful. Peace: something he never felt when he was awake. At that moment he knew, something would arrive to ruin the satisfaction he felt.

'3...2...1...!' As if it was his cue, his brother busted in his room.

"Weegie! You gotta get up!" Mario exclaimed.

'Sigh. I bet the princess got kidnapped.......again.' he thought.

"Bowser just captured the princess again. We gotta save her!" Mario stated. Luigi didn't move an inch. He didn't feel like getting up to go on an adventure to save a princess for the 1000th time and has his brother take all the credit (like usual) others praising him and talking about how easily Mario could have done it without 'Green Mario!' Oh, yeah, that's what they called him, because they could never remember his name. And 'Mario's Brother' 'Mario's Sidekick' 'Mario's Shadow!' He couldn't take it.

"Geez, you'd think after the first time being kidnapped she would upgrade her security." He complained. He wasn't in the mood for whatever game this was. He was tired of it.

"Oh c'mon bro! You gotta get up" Mario nagged. "I can't save her without you!"

"You've done it before." The younger brother replied. He pulled the covers over himself, hoping his brother would get it. 'I just wanna be alone. Nothing I do will ever be enough compared to you.'

"Sigh. If you don't wanna come, then I guess that's fine." Mario gave in. He knew at times Luigi can be very stubborn. So he stepped out the room leaving the youngest alone.

"Finally." He muttered. So he closed his eyes, waiting for darkness to take over once again. He was at peace...until...

Boom!

"Sorry bro! But I need you!" Mario busted through the door again. This time he grabbed his brother by the wrist and yanked him out of bed. Luigi tried to fight against Mario's strength, but it was hopeless. Mario was a lot stronger. He then gave up once he was out of bed. Even so, Mario continued to drag Luigi out of the room.

"I HATE THURSDAYS!" Luigi screamed.
