It wasn't unitl Brittany got home when she realised what her mother meant. The house has transformed into a hugemonus mess with bits of rubbish left on the floor. Her father walked in and glared at her mother. Her mother rolled her eyes and took and tic ta mints out her Pandora bag.
What's going on, Brittany thought. Why are they like this.
Her father sat on the couch and stared at Brittany with a thougtful look. " Now honey, um there has been a slight problem with the relationship between your parents, and we can no longer tolerate with each other. We have a conclusion that we will not be living with each other anymore."
Brittany stared at her mother and then to her father and said.
" Does, Does that mean you guys are divorcing. What will happen to me then, where will i live, in the streets?"
" No, you won't be living on the streets, in two weeks time, you will need to decide who you would want to continue to live with. That means that you can't see your other parent for the rest of your lives. Is that clear honey?"
Brittany just stared back with her eyes filled with tears. " How can you do this to me? It's not fair!"
And with that Brittany stormed out of the living room into her bedroom
