Being nearly five months along in to my pregnancy and still no support from my mother. I spent most of last night wondering if I should send a text or phone her, maybe if I should reach out. Maybe that's what she was waiting for, maybe she thought I was mad at her.

Truth be told I was at first but then I came to see her side of it all, her daughter was going to give birth to at the time a strange man's baby. Her daughter, only daughter may I add got knocked up by a footballer.

I sighed at Julian's alarm went off for training. He did his normal thing of going to give me a kiss of the forehead before he got up before noticing I was already awake.
"Did it wake you?" He pointed to his phone where the alarm sound came from, I shook my head
"Is baby Edelman keeping you awake, is he being naughty?" I smiled as he placed a hand on my belly, ever growing belly that was
"No, I've just been up thinking. About my mother" he give me a weak smile
"You do what's best for you babe. You know I'll support you." He smiled and give me a kiss walking in to the bathroom, leaving the door open so we could still talk
"I need my mum" he nodded and agreed
"Reach out to her. The worse that can happen is what's already happening. It can only get better not worse. And if she wants we can arrange a time where she can meet me" he mumbled with toothpaste in his mouth
"Are you sure?"
"Yup, she will be the nan to my child and is the mother of the love of my life. I'll win her over like I did you" he winked and zipped his jacket up.
"Phone her" he spoke as he passed me my phone and left for training
