Since my childhood, I have always seen brides and grooms draped in white costumes. Not only that but they match the theme of the wedding party with their white costumes. I liked it at the start, white gives a quite chaste look but then it became boring. Same color, same theme and nothing notable. When I proposed Liana I decided that we are not going to have this common theme at our wedding. I told her beforehand that we ought to set a trend. Let's make our wedding sparkly and centerpiece.

We thought about many things. Even we considered the idea of a destination wedding. A few ideas were wonderful for me but Liana rejected them. One of our friends said that "you are obsessed about the wedding, it is a simple thing to keep it simple. Why are you guys complicating things like hell?" Maybe we were obsessed still, I was sure about one thing that I am not going to be covered in a white tux and I will not see my bride in a white gown.

After hum and haw, we decided to consult some experienced private party planners in Indianapolis. It was helpful, they showed us a number of options for our wedding other than white. We didn't decide something immediately. Rather I held Liana's hand and brought us out of that office. I suggested we should walk. She was treading beside me and for the first time, I told her what the marriage meant to me. We agreed upon an idea after discussing a number of things. She was happy and when she's happy I feel happier.

We went to the party planners in Indianapolis the next day and finalized a champagne color theme. It was neither too loud nor so light. I liked and so did Liana. Her wedding gown was prepared after some time and I was amazed to see such perfection. She tried her costume and I couldn't blink my eye. She was looking just like the image I had in my mind. I tried my tux that matched with her wedding gown. Photographer said that we were looking picture-perfect. I don't know whether there is something like that existent or not. The only thing I know is that I loved everything that was arranged by our wedding planners.

I thanked them and that day came when we had to take the vow to be with each other. The wedding hall was decorated with champagne and golden colors. Everything was dreamy and I could see the excitement and happiness in Liana's eyes. She was as beautiful as a goddess. We met our friends and family. Everyone admired the change that we had at our wedding. I didn't do it for praising remarks rather I wanted to have something different in my wedding photo album that I can share with my kids one day.
