~Milly's POV~

19:40
I felt all the air leave my lungs and black dots danced in my vision. This can't be happening. I felt someone step closer to me and put their hand on my shoulder, from the tingles it gave me I knew it was Alcide.

'Breathe Milly.' He reminded me. I sucked in a harsh breath trying not to choke.

"Nick?" Will asked, stepping out from behind us. "But how? We buried you!" I could hear the hurt and confusion in his voice. His best friend of many years, his old Beta, stood in front of us in charge of the rogue army, the person behind all of the killing. My father chuckled darkly. My head was starting to spin. How? Why?

"Daddy! Come back here!" I giggled. My six-year-old legs chasing after him in the garden.

"Have to catch me first squirt." He laughed, kicking the football around. I caught up to him and tried to grab the ball. "You have to kick it squirt; you can't pick it up!" He laughed, easily dodging me. He kicked the ball over to me letting my little legs kick it around for a bit.

"Milly! Milly! Over here!" Ryan shouted, jumping up and down. I kicked it in his direction missing him by a few meters.

"Sorry!" I shouted, pouting at my terrible shot.

"You'll get it one day kid, don't worry." My dad said coming over and ruffling my hair, making me pout more.

"Dinner's ready!" Mum shouted out the back door. We all ran inside hungry for what she had made for us.

I snuggled in closer to the warmth that surrounded me.

"I think we tried them out, poor things." I heard the love in my mother voice. I open my eyes slightly, not wanting to move from my position. I was wrapped up on my dad's lap and Ryan on my mums.

"We did good, didn't we?" My dad asks getting a hum of agreement from my mum.

"C'mon kids, we have to be quiet!" Dad said in a harsh whisper, trying not to laugh. We were currently all hiding behind the sofa waiting for mum to come down the stairs. When she walked through the door, we all jumped up and shouted boo! She screamed as we made her jump. Her reaction had us all rolling on the floor laughing.

"Very funny!" She frowned at us but the amusement was evident on her face.

"High five kids!" My dad grinned at us, giving both Ryan and I a high five.

All these memories flashed in front of my eyes. This can't be the same man I grew up with? I studied him, looking at him from his feet all the way up into his deep hazel eyes. He was different from what I remembered, but somehow still the same.

"You can't stop him. You are the only one that's strong enough to, but you can't."

The words of that rogue ran through my head. Did he know? Did he know that the leader of the rogue's was the father of the blue wolf?

"No William, you thought you buried me but in actual fact, you didn't." My father looked like a picture of pure calm. As if he hadn't faked his death ten years ago and been building an army against us ever since.

If he managed to fake his death, what else did he fake?

He was always laughing, always smiling. He radiated warmth and kindness and was well respected by everybody. That's why they took it so hard when we thought he died.

Was all that just an act? Was it all just a lie?

I felt Ryan stand to my left. I felt his gaze study our father. They both got locked into a staring match, my brother frowning and getting angrier as my father smirked at him.

"Nice to see you've all grown up my boy." My father said with ease. His voice sounded different... No, it was his tone. As if he was the best thing in the world and we were mere ants to him. Something inside me wanted to snap and scream. How is this possible? I almost felt the need to pinch myself to see if this was real, to make sure this was actually happening. Ryan let out a low growl.

"What the fuck is going on?" Ryan snapped. His hands fisting at his sides as his body shakes in anger. My father eyes lock onto mine.

"I'm surprised you survived the car crash." He said, slipping his hands into his jean pockets, completely ignoring Ryans question.

"How so?" I breathed out, barely above a whisper.

"I made sure the car would hit the side you and your mother were on, hoping to kill you both. One of you died at least." The way he said it, in such an off handed way, made me take in a sharp breath and step backwards as if he had slapped me round the face.

Our whole life was a lie.

"You intentionally tried to kill both your mate and your daughter?" Will snapped at him, taking a step forward with a growl. My father's eyes snapped over to him.

"Caroline was not my mate." My father growled, his front demeanor slipping slightly.

"What?" We all gush out. What does he mean my parents weren't mates?

"That is a story for another time. It's unimportant. What is important however," He turned his cold, dead eyes to look at me. Eyes that once held so much love in them. "You, dear daughter of mine." I narrowed my eyes at him. I don't care if we're related by blood. This man is not my father.

"I'm guessing, even if I ask nicely, you won't come willingly?" He questions. I growl in response making him smirk. "Thought so. I guess there's no other choice then." He sighed in fake disapproval.

"Men. Attack!" He shouted, springing everybody here to life.
