Jakes POV
I push him against the locker after getting punched in the face. I feel the blood drip from my lip. I was about to punch him but football came into my mind. If I punch back I'm kicked off and I'm done. I drop my fists and back away. Lucas smiles at me
L- where you going
J- if I punch you I'm kicked off
L- coach doesn't need you anyways
J- next time keep your mouth shut because you don't Know who is listening
I pick my football bag up and leave. I take my lanyard out of my pocket and open the trunk. I throw my bag in and shut it. I get in the drivers seat and drive to my house. I see my dads truck in the driveway and I rush inside trying not to run into him
G- Jake !
J- yeah!
G- how was practice
J- good
G- dinners ready in like 30 minutes
I run upstairs into my room. I pull my phone out
J- come in like an hour
I throw it in the bed and grab my things to take a shower. I get in than about 10 minutes later I get out and wrap a towel around my waist. I dry myself up and head downstairs to the kitchen.
G- bud can you set the table
J- yeah
I grab two of everything and put it on the table.
After dinner
I clean up as my dad gets ready for work. After I'm done I head up stairs and turn my tv on. My dad walks in
G- I'll see you later
J- yeah save some lives tonight?
G- *smiles* we'll see
He leaves and I hear the front door shut. I go my mirror and look at my lip. I'm surprised my dad didn't say anything, he probably thought it was just football. I take my shirt off and throw it on my bed. I grab my water on the side table and chug the rest. I throw it in the trash and it goes in. The door bell rings and I race downstairs. I open the door
J- hey babe
I reach my hand out and she grabs it and I bring her in. I shut the door And then we walk to the stairs. I let her go first and then walk behind her. We get into my room and I grab my bag.
J- rik all I need help with is math
E- are we actually going to do it or is your tongue gonna be in my mouth
J- both?
She smiles and shakes her head.
E- take your things out and I'll help
I pull my math out and set my textbook and binder both opened up on the desk. She stands beside me as I show her what i need help with.
1 hour later
J- I'm done
I look over to erika on my bed and I see her smile. she drops her phone from her face and looks at me
J- who you texting
E- rocky
I put my things in my bag and set it near the door.
J- In all my other classes I have 70's but math I have a 65
E- we will get it up it's only the second month of school
I turn the tv on and sit beside Erika. I throw a scary movie on because I know she'll cuddle with me.
E- every time I come here you always put a scary movie on because you know I'll end up cuddling you.
J- after 4 years you finally got it
E- haha very funny
I roll over to her and put my head in her lap. She runs her fingers threw my hair as I massage her calf's. Half way threw the movie I look up and see Erika on her phone
J- are you bored
E- yes
J- okay me too this isn't even scary
I sit up grabbing the remote and shutting it off. I get up and turn the light on. I walk back to the bed and crawl on top of erika. I connect our lips and after a while I slow our kisses down. I then put my head in her neck and she wraps her arms around me
E- what did you do to your lip
J- football
I then get up and go put a hoodie on. I go back out and see Erika's going threw my phone. I lay behind her and prop my head up. She scrolls threw Instagram and I watch at how long she inspects girls picture or even profile
J- just go to the next one you're taking forever
E- I'm looking take a chill pill
She scrolls to the next one and she's in it. It's her and a couple friends at my football game. It's in her friends feed
J- you're cute
She quickly goes to the next picture which is weird. I grab my phone out of her hands and throw it on the side of the bed. I get up and walk out my door going downstairs. I grab a water and head back up. I stand in the doorway and I sip my water
J- are you going back home or are you staying
E- I was gonna go back home
J- thats fine
I go and sit at the end of the bed. I look forward and Erika appears beside me
E- I can stay
J- nah it's fine
E- I'm staying
J- I'll just see you tomorrow
she gets up.
J- I'll walk you to your car
We both head downstairs and Erika slips her vans on. We head outside and Erika opens her car door. I wrap my arms around her
J- I'll see you at school
E- love you
J- love you too
She gets in her car and I watch her leave. I run inside as the cold wind blows on my bare body
