Beam just sighed watching Pha go into his room and shut all the lights off/close the windows that look into the rest of the dorm. (the wood walls in the picture)
He's worried about the older boy. He's basically the only reason Pha's still alive. If it wasn't for him three years ago, Pha wouldn't be here today. Pha is extremely suicidal. It came after he came out to his family as pansexual. His family in response, started abusing him, and eventually kicked him out a couple years after. He just didn't see the point of being alive any more. So he jumped off a bridge. Luckily his timing sucked and he landed on a boat. Beam's boat. And from that day till now Beam has been by Pha's side making sure he's ok, that he eats, and gets the help he needs. It's been a struggle, but everyday Pha is slowly improving. Its been three years, and Beam is finally hearing Pha laugh, finally seeing him smile, things are really looking up for the college students.

🍱

"Pha, dinner is ready. You awake?" Beam asked and crawled onto the bed to where the other was curled up in the corner with his blankets. He looked so small, which is rare considering he's 6'1 and basically pure muscle. Beam makes him work out at least three times a week. It's paying off.

"Pha~ wake up babe," Beam said and shook Pha's arm. He uses 'babe' as a nickname instead of using honorifics. Pha's only six months older, no need to call him P'.

"Hm?" Pha whined a little and slowly woke up. Beam smiled and ran his hand through Pha's hair, waking him up.

"Dinner's ready, you awake?" Beam asked and Pha nodded.

The two got up and left Pha's room to sit at the small table in their kitchen. Beam made Pha's favorite tonight. Bibimbap - a Korean dish.

🌙

"I'm going to bed," Pha mumbled after watching a movie with Beam - around eleven pm.

"Alright, what time is your class tomorrow?" Beam asked not looking up from his calendar checking what his schedule was.

"Twelve," Pha said and Beam nodded and stood up to give Pha a hug.

"Sleep well, come get me if something happens," Beam said and watched Pha walk back to his room before he went to his own to finish up some homework before bed.

I

t was around four am and Pha couldn't sleep. He didn't want to wake Beam up, or get out of bed, but he didn't want to be alone either. So Pha, unfortunately, got out of bed and went to where his phone was charging - the table where they eat dinner. He unplugged his phone and went back to his room - closing the door.
Normally Beam wouldn't let him, just incase something happened, but when Pha can't sleep at night he lets him close the door so his lights didn't light up into his room as well.
Pha turned on his string lights and turned on his phone. He immediately Googled™ a suicide hotline number that he could text. He wasn't feeling well and that rubber band could only do so much before Pha broke and needed the 'real thing'.
He eventuality found one and memorized the number before typing it into his phone.

"Here goes nothing," Pha mumbled and started the conversation.

Pha was confused why this person didn't seem to expect any texts tonight. It's a suicide hotline - they should always expect people. This number seemed sketchy - but what does Pha have to lose? Not much.

👀

"I guess I'm a suicide helpline now," Forth thought as he read over the unknown number's text.

"This'll probably be a one time thing, I can pretend for one night..." Forth thought and proceeded to text this unknown person at four thirty in the morning.

This'll be one interesting night for the two of them.
