The One Called Minho

Chapter 10

"That's why we have to get out of this hell." Minho said as he walked over to me and extended his hand out towards me as I gripped it and was pulled into a lovely embrace from the one I love.

"For Melanie." I said as I looked around at Thomas, Newt, and Minho.

"For Jeremy." Newt said as he stepped towards the group. It was an odd feeling. We already were a pack, more like a rebellion pack, but now it just felt real. We had an actual reason to fight and get out of here. It was somewhat strange feeling that we had someway to beat the maze.

"For Evan and Lucie." Thomas said as he slowly stood up and picked Natalie up bridal style as he groaned as he moved her. He placed his lips on her forehead and whispered something in her ear that I swear brought a smile to her face.

"For Nicky." Minho said as he rubbed his neck tracing one of the lines that had been created from his scar. The one that constantly reminds him of the pain he had to go through and the pain and suffering he had to watch.

"We're going to get out of here alive or die trying." I said as I looked around at the rest of us as Newt shook his head in agreement.

"Lead the way Greenie." Newt said with a cheeky smile on his face that brought a nasty smirk to my face. He just laughed as we made our way slowly towards a different entrance of the maze. This one was marked with an M. No number or anything just an M.

"M. Mel. Melanie." I said out loud as I placed my hand onto the door only to pull it away fast as a shriek came out of my mouth before the sizzling sound even left. I couldn't help but try and balance myself but ended up burning myself more in the process. That's when Minho came to my rescue.

"Alright you I'm here." Minho said with a chuckle as he stood in a pose that a superhero would do.

"You know one day your not going to be able to rescue me." I said as I pulled my hand away from my leg and my arm away from the door to reveal massive blisters and the smell of flesh that was oddly enough a good smell.

"And that is the day that hell will freeze over because I can no longer save you." Minho said as he walked over and picked me up bridal style as I just looked at him with an angry face but he kept making odd faces at me. I couldn't help but laugh.

We started our way to another section of the maze with the sun making it hotter than it could ever be in the maze.

"You are so weird." I said to Minho as we had been walking along with Newt walking next to us.

"Oh really Mrs I'm gonna go burn myself on a door because I need balance." Minho said in a girly tone as Newt let out a burst of laughter.

"Hey now if I'm Mrs I'm gonna go burn myself on a door because I need balance. Then your Mr didn't come to my rescue in time." I said as I poked him in the stomach causing him to make a weird face at me when Thomas called out.

"Newt, she's asking for you." Thomas said in a raspy tone as Newt headed towards Natalie with a confused look on his face.

"N. Newt?" The words floated off of Natalie's lips as Thomas placed her feet on the ground still holding her by her waist as Newt came over with a smile painted onto his face.

"Hey Nat." Newt said as Natalie reached out and hugged him.

"You didn't have to save me. You could've let her live. But thanks." She said as pulled away and looked him in the eyes as a loud boom came from a direction left of us. I jumped obviously scared by the noise and had Minho directly wrapping his arms around my waist protectively.

"I've got you love. Nothing's gonna hurt you." Minho said as I turned to face him as I planted my lips on his as a flash came down a struck the concrete right in between Minho and I.

"Ummmmmmmm. Pretty sure that's a hazard." I said with a laugh as Minho continued to kiss me while smiling.

"And what if you're the hazard?" Minho said as he picked me up by the hips and placed me against the concrete wall as rain began to pour down dousing us dampening our clothes.

"Well maybe I am." I said as Minho kissed me harder than he had ever before. We were kissing and I could tell someone was watching us like usual that's when I opened my eyes to see Newts face directly in my line of vision scaring me.

"Jesus Christ Newt. What the bloody hell is wrong with you!" I said as I slapped him on the arm as I grabbed my chest to slow my heart as I felt hands grip my waist again.

"Would you two wait until you are in private to be all sexual. Please." Newt said in a very high pitched tone that just made me burst out laughing as water continued to flow into the maze.

"Fine. But as long as we get out of this. I'm not liking how it's filling the maze." I said as I looked around to see big masses of puddles start to come together. I knew that this wasn't gonna be good at all. And from the looks of it we all knew something was going to happen.
